Damn, I lost at the last stage. Giant bug's purple laser one shots you. I guess I should've focused the bug instead defending generators.

How can I make the full screen become a window without having to enter the game? Because I can't enter the game at all. I want it to be 16*9.

Yeah, trying to kill the giant monster that appears is a wasted effort.
I have been there myself once or twice, get right up to the very last stage where you get to fire the BFG and fail. Either all turrets died or mostly I got my turret girl caught in one of the beams and died.

If you can afford it AND RNG plays nice with you, take the single day attack buff and/or girl/generator defense buff.

I think its possible to counter the attack somehow not sure how it works though (attacking specific body part? sometimes that attack does get cancelled). The boss will die to the superweapon precisely with 15 seconds on the clock no matter what you do (most of the time it is outside your attack range and even when it isn't, it seems to have way too much hp). Dashing gives invincibility frames and being far enough on either side also seems to evade the attack on girl. So just keep 4 gens intacts (first boss attack may take out 3 gens) and when it revs up the second attack -that floods the center of the screen and oneshots girl if wavenumber is high enough- immediately after it attacks the gens dash to the side and stay on that side.

Guys, the game doesn't open after extracting bepinex and the TG helper. It only opens a command prompt window then closes. I also made extra sure to put the bepinex and the TG helper in the right location. Is anyone having the same issue? Please help

stuck in a black screen. even when deleting lib_burst_generated.dll, still blackscreen.
i dont know what to do here. tried running the game in every single compatibility mode too. no success.

  • Hold: Continuous fire while holding down the button (previous behavior)
  • Toggle: Switches between continuous fire and stop with each button press
  • Continuous Fire: Constantly fires without needing button input
■ Added Total Damage Display
  • You can now check the total damage dealt by each weapon on the Game Result screen

[Adjustments]
■ Energy Shield (Shield Drone adjustment)
  • Adjusted the Supply Weapon "Shield Drone" and renamed it to “Energy Shield”
  • Changed to a single shield that covers the entire turret
  • Blocks one attack (now also blocks long-range attacks)
  • The shield disappears after blocking an attack
  • When disappearing, it releases a powerful shockwave that deals damage over a wide area
  • If there is ammunition remaining, a new shield will deploy instantly (if at zero ammo, it will reload instead)
  • The Shield Drone was previously too lackluster, so we reworked it into a more useful, offensive shield
  • The Shield Generator remains unchanged
■ Machine Gun
  • Improved bullet grouping and projectile speed while aiming down sights (ADS)

The damage dealt by each weapon is a nice QOL improvement, it is nice to know if a weapon is an unpolished turd or if it was actually useful.

Yeah, pretty sure their 'energy shield' still sucks.
The only way to use it is to get hit by something, otherwise it is just dead weight, reducing your firepower and sucking up a valuable weapon slot for something that might actually be useful ... like a machine gun or a grenade launcher.

Tried both GOG (fitgirl) and this version in Linux
GOG runs fine in proton-cachyos but I got black screen when using Steam version (tried using proton-cachyos-slr and GE-Proton but still not working).

After some research, I'm finally got this Steam version working after using Proton-LG from PortProton. But BepInEx still not working, no log or anything even after using this winhttp=n,b

I'm just following this instructions . This guide works when I'm modding online game Brown Dust II with proton-cachyos. So I just assuming, if original games is windows = using windows dll.

Maybe my case is just another Linux/proton black magic ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. At least I can play this (pirated) game.

BepInEx Linux build is designed for native Linux applications. This game is for Windows, so BepInEx must also be Win and if it is to be launched on Linux, a bypass is needed due to dll not loading.

Have you tried some older builds? Or Patcher version, which could theoretically solve the compatibility issue, but who knows..
But I have no experience with that.

But I have no experience with that.
I just reinstalled my Linux from EndeavourOS to CachyOS. Aaand, it just works (using same BepInEx from kumarin post).
I think my previous setup had so much bloat from installing different DE (or anything... idk, I'm trying so many apps after switching from Windows) so maybe there are some dependencies conflict or something :FacePalm:
