Typesetting problems kamidori alchemy meister

I've been playing kamidori alchemy meister the last few days and now I've run into a problem after installing the latest windows 10 update (1803). The typesetting has gone all wrong. The characters are way too close to eachother which makes them overlap. I would like to fix this if possible.

My drivers are up-to-date and using compatibilitymode doesn't help.

Okay, I found the fix to the problem. The japanese language pack was uninstalled with the update so had to reïnstall that to make the game look normal.
