that's a good question. What's with this game and my favourites changing after each update?![]()
Yeah, the post you replied to is kinda the second comment I've seen recently where players say they loved LoF but hate the branching in u4ia.Oh no... branching...
Well, this game is not made especially for you. When your kinks aren't in there, it's a you problem. No dev can please everyone.
How does that fit to that?
Leap Of Faith forced the players to do a lot of replays to see all branches and endings.
Yeah, I am personally fine with branching, but I do wish this game was a bit more free with some things, and it is in some place, but not in others.Yeah, the post you replied to is kinda the second comment I've seen recently where players say they loved LoF but hate the branching in u4ia.
I'm, like, what? The game mechanics between the two are essentially the same, and both AVNs end chapters on near-identical splash screens summarizing what a player did with each LI during a play through, how many opportunities they missed, and how many renders they have yet to uncover.
That's quirk of Drifty's games, and, yes, it can be frustrating. Then again, Steam players know Drifty offers an excellent WT for LoF and he's planning the same for the u4ia Steam release [I am holding out for that WT to tab my way through a couple of new LI saves ready for Season 2].
I agree that both games are pretty much using the same design. I'm just guessing here, but I think the reason why some people feel ok with LoF's branching but not u4ia's is simply because u4ia is a much bigger scale with more (likeable) girls so branches are felt more and choices are harder to make.Yeah, the post you replied to is kinda the second comment I've seen recently where players say they loved LoF but hate the branching in u4ia.

I'm obvviously just speaking for myself, but there's another reason, that compounds on what you wrote.I agree that both games are pretty much using the same design. Yeah I think you got a point. I also think that maybe it's easier to focus on the story in LoF because the plot revolves around one main girl (Cece) who is a fan favorite, while u4ia's plot is more mystery that is spread out among many girls to different degree with the main focus being the MC's own background story.I'm obvviously just speaking for myself, but there's another reason, that compounds on what you wrote.
LoF was relatable, dealing also with dark topics that I imagine many of us had to deal with (I for sure did), depicting a relatively realistic scenario , to the degree an AVN can be realistisc of course.
That in turn made it less likely to be approached as an "harem simulator" where yo chase girl1, the next slide you go for girl 2 etc...
That's not the case for u4ia, the whole scenario is waaay less relatable and "out there" (I mean unless you are one of Epstein friends I guess?), which in turn makes most of its characters feel like...well characters of an AVN, "I want to see her tiddies, but the game won't let me fondle this other LI pussy!"
I don't know it might just be me, but I only played LoF once, and I was fine with it, I didn't give a cent about other routes besides the one I cared about.
Here I really don't care about any route above another? I mean I'm (mildly) intrigued by the story as a whole and sure from a spectacle point of view most of the girls are "hotter" than in LoF, but that only leads to the issue at hand:
Since I don't care too much about any of them, then I just want to approach this AVN for what it is, an AVN, then yes of course the more I see the better.
LoF was a more straightforward story as well so each update was more structured and easier to follow, from what I remember anyways. Kinda the downside when you go all cliffhanger/mystery during updates. I'm hopeful that u4ia comes together more neatly as it goes on.Yeah I think you got a point. The "harem simulator" feel in u4ia is also a very valid point because MC was the center of the group in LoF (everyone becomes friends with everyone because of MC) while the u4ia main group don't really have that same strong connection (quite a fair amount of "friend of a friend" feel) plus the existence of clear non-main-plot-related characters like Pearl,Tuesday, Lin, Vivienne, etc.
Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, A, BAny1 know Sea's controller code??
nope.Does the game have repeatable sex scenes like Lust Academy ?
That was my first guess....maybe the secret code to get "naked Lara"Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, A, B
Yeah, you miss the opportunity when you don't rail her.Anyone know how to get the missing opportunity with the bartender?
Sounds like a botched mod job.saves r not loading giving an exception has occurred
Story of this game is soooo boring.I found a story inconsistency.
During the "Never have I ever..." game, MC doesn't drink when the arrested question pops up. We later find out he was arrested at the airport and spent 2 days in jail when Jackie left.
Nothing that a small tweak wouldn't fix (forced drink on the "never have I lied playing never have I ever..." question)
