Never used it on that game, as when I've done the compression, I've always got good results, but then again that alpha setting has been on for months now

Hmm ok strange i dit us nconvert for the imgs maybe your should try that and see if it happens.
That are the settings i used for that game.

And as i can see my files still are litel smaller as your but that should not make it flashing.

My old one does, it doesn't crash, you can ignore it, it was like I said due to CWEBP advanced settings that I had enabled with -alpha_q and -alpha_filter. Turning those off it no longer does it.. My settings are the same minus using CWEBP.

It seems like the game is having trouble loading an image, and the "Unsupported image format" message suggests that some image files might be corrupted or in a format Ren'Py can't handle.

It's happens coz of ancient RenPy version (6.99.8) that doens't support webp. So u need to select manual video compression (if u want keep rpa, if not skip this step), disable images compression and compress game with custom engine compressor by selecting only images and original format and disable nconvert (not mandatory). If u have already half compressed and unpacked from rpa game then just do last step with custom compressor.

In this game there are .tif images (inside ..\game\images\V_0031 subfolders) and it's real tiff format which RenPy doesn't support as far as I know and it seems also don't used in rpy code so deleting all .tif would save about 700 Mb of space.

I just checked, and it looks like the subfolders SC_01, SC_24, and part of SC_25 are full of .tif files. So, it’s safe to just go ahead and delete them, right?

I think that yes since I've played new content (that about 2 min long) from my old save and all is working but u can check it by urself to make sure that all OK. Btw after clearing .tif trash files "game" folder became just 188 Mb vs 1Gb before (lol).

Sanji Fantasy Toon Adventure [v0.19] [Kitoro GAMES]

megalol and Bob69, just a heads-up—when compressing Sanji's with the Godot compressor, it breaks the animation loops in both Bob's previous and my new compression.

Turning off video compression seems to have fixed it.

It doesn't affect gameplay per se, but you can tell the animations are off when watching.

- For Godot engine compressor changed theora video encoder tool (because previous had bugs)
- For RenPy main (but not for bulk) compressor added checking if RenPy version supports webp images
- Updated some tools

Hey guys, after a few tests and a bunch of tries, I think I finally managed to decrypt, then compress, and then encrypt the game 'Struggle With Sin' back to its original state. I tested it on version '0.5.8.7'. The UAGC and some other tweaks made it possible. Just a heads-up, I spent over two hours trying to figure it out.

P.S. I’m not sure if it’s working 100%, I just started the game. I don't appreciate 'RPGM'; I'm a 'Renpy' player. I’d appreciate it if you guys could test it out!

megalol, if your tool can extract the encryption key from the 'System.json' file, I assume it can also retrieve it from the 'www/js/rpg_core.js' file of the game 'A Struggle With Sin'. The real key is located at the end of the file.

I've been following this game for a long time. The first compression I did was almost manual. I might be wrong, but the developer often creates tricks to prevent people from compressing the game or extracting its files
