We live in an era of advanced neural networks that can generate very complex pictures. Fan of old games are already being produced with the help of neural networks.
Obviously, modern neural networks can handle mosaic censorship in hentai games excellently.
In addition, neural networks can also generate complex animations from static pictures. For example, I've seen many animated videos made from manga frames on Youtube. Even colorized ones that look like anime.

But why aren't we seeing a lot of uncensored hentai by fans? Even for popular hentai games, there are no fan patches for removing censorship and animating static scenes.
What is the reason for the inaction?

because AI can't generate consistent sequential frames, which induces the awful 'wobble' of things not staying where they should. the ones you may have seen without the wobble did not generate the sequential frames, but instead far fewer keyframes and then filled the missing frames in between with interpolation. which gives that .

which means you'd have to fix it by hand anyway which defeats the purpose of generating the frames to begin with.

This, and also most games that are designed to actually be good unfortunately come from countries with extremely conservative views on things, and those developing mods for NSFW games are pretty rare, actually.

Not to mention sanctions and internet censorship with regions, ect. blocking access to tools like AI Generation and Neural Networks- It gets pretty messy.
