Because Bytez abandoned this game more than a year and a half ago and he hasn't done anything to work on it leaving it with bugs and unfinished, maybe?

It isn't patreon locked you could buy it through itch.io it's still there. Doesn't help that people payed for it then the guy just drops it without finishing then starts another project and somehow gets big names on board

It is the current issue with people, short term memory and attention spans worthy of goldfishes. Gives grifters and scammers unique chances to make realstate here, sadly...
