Almost closer to 4 when looking at the full thing, but the start is great and I hope this gets continued so it can fulfill that 5 star promise.

Interesting characters, many good renders, hot setup.

What I'd love to see is some of those more storytelling scenes to also have a higher quality (just better lighting setup really), and a bit less of thought narration since it can be a bit much. Adding animations would wrap this up nicely.

Awesome start! Intriguing world, unique story, and a compelling protagonist. Fun homages, great cinematography. Content is limited for now, but incredibly promising. Side characters are solid too. Choices already have an impact—hoping the complex system sticks around

    - All the characters are interesting , especially the protagonist, which I'm already down for because she has a very dark and mysterious personality - Precisely the archetype I find most appealing. She's so powerful and attractive, which also gives us a sense of control over everyone else; although Its better if this control isn't absolute and that she faces real dangers and challenges sometimes. I just wish there was the option for her to be female, instead of futa.

    - The VN tells us right from the start it will focus on choices, and it seems to deliver on that promise, because there are a good number of them and they allow us to shape the story, along with the MC's morality and personality.

    - The graphics are decent, standard for Ren'py. I think some scenarios could be darker, however, to convey better the feeling of darkness and dangerous atmosphere - like the forest at the beginning.

    So far, huge potential.

As a prologue, UNDAWN: Shackles of Eternity sets a strong foundation for what looks to be an exciting story to come. It provides a good amount of content that not only introduces the world but also sets up key plot points, making it an engaging beginning to what could be a thrilling adventure.

    Graphics & Visuals:
The renders in UNDAWN are definitely a highlight. They’re well-crafted, and the attention to detail is clear in most of the scenes. However, there are a few moments where the quality feels slightly lower than the overall standard, though this doesn’t detract too much from the experience. One minor thing I noticed that could be improved is the protagonist's anatomy — specifically, the skin tone of this character’s penis could match the rest of his body more closely for a more natural look. Despite these small issues, the visuals as a whole are impressive and visually captivating.

    Sound & Music:
The music and sound effects are well-suited to the scenes in the game. It’s refreshing to see a game where the audio matches the tone and atmosphere, adding an extra layer of immersion. The soundtrack complements the mood of the game without being overpowering, and the sound effects enhance the realism, making the environment feel alive and reactive.

    Scene Transitions:
One area for potential improvement is the transitions between scenes. While the game does a solid job of moving through its story, some transitions could be smoother. There were a few moments where the change in location or scene felt a bit abrupt, which momentarily took me out of the experience. With a little tweaking in this area, it could really elevate the overall flow.

    Overall Impression:
For a second game following Instinct Unleashed, UNDAWN: Shackles of Eternity is off to a strong start. It’s clear that a lot of effort has been put into creating a compelling world and engaging characters. While there are a few minor areas that could benefit from improvement, such as rendering consistency and scene transitions, this prologue is still an enjoyable and solid introduction. I’m excited to see where the story goes in future updates and would recommend it to anyone who enjoyed Instinct Unleashed or is a fan of the genre.

    Versio: Prologue

Story does feel at the beginning somewhat confusing, as the setting is really unique. But it flows with great pace. Never did it feel like there is information dumbing, even if there is new terms for many basic fantasy concept (not a fan). Point system feels fun and even if there might be serious consequences, MC is so dark that it fits perfectly.
Only problem I have is that story and MC like this doesn´t give much hope for lots of sex scenes. Pity fucking might get boring pretty fast, but I also don´t wanna see MC fall in love with some random flat chested mortal.

Writing does have a lot of interesting characters. MC is very unique character and has really nice atmosphere with her dialogue. It is so refreshing to play this kind of MC that might have other priorities than "save the world"/"conquer the world", even if that is what happens in the end. Sadly the sex scene did feel little dead with MC like this.

Visually game looks good. Characters are beautiful and MC specially looks authoritative. Camera angles are great and visuals overall support the dark story very well.
Sex scenes could use better animations (even AI ones), as they look so passionless and mechanical. Well the one sex scene that we had this far.
MC also gets smaller during sex, the whole character. Kind of one of the main thing why she looks so sexy while towering over other people in regular conversations.

I played the prologue in Russian. It's well-written and the narrative is like a good old fantasy novel. The MC is simply incredible. Jade from the previous game was good, but my Sehaniel (canonically Rhiannon) is much more multifaceted. I especially liked that our favorite author gave us the option to act as anyone would (kill them and forget, or leave them alive but with a personality disorder—which will affect the future). Irsha is incredible, domestic as a cat, but playful like a succubus. Rosanna was a good secondary character, not an empty shell, but even with some kind of backstory. And at the end, there was a girl with blue pupils, she looks like an elf, and something tells me... she doesn't have a dick between her legs (I don't remember the name of the effeminate elves in this game). I hope she becomes the mainly character, something tells me she'll be interesting. The render quality is much, much better than in the previous game. I especially liked the render style, it looks like an "old, musty book with ancient writings." Everything looks great. The animation quality...well, they're not worse than in the previous game, i wouldn't call them the best I've seen, but still, not bad. The story is also great, even though it's just a prologue and introduction to the characters and lore. It looks like an expensive fantasy story (or movie) that you want to read (or watch). Verdict: well, 9-9.5/10, -1 (-0.5) points for the animation quality, which doesn't match the amazing quality of the renders. I hope the animations improve, but even so, the game looks incredible.

Peak. The writing, the lore, the mc's strength and aura farming. I'm not a fan of instinct unleashed even though i tried to get into it. However, this vn is too good. Even for the prologue there are enough options to make the mc your own. I actually played all the options to see the different routes of the mc.
The vn does not crush you with an info dump like how most lore heavy beginner novels do. It gives enough information to know what the terms mean and stuff. All in all, its a strong start.
For now, i think there is only one sex scene. It was fine, but for me thats not really what i care for so yeah.

The story is set in a dark fantasy universe. It emphasizes the importance of choices. The main character is fantastic, and watching him is a pleasure in itself. The narration and story drew me in immediately. It's a perfect game.
