VN - Ren'Py - Under the Same Roof [Day 3 Beta] [Dark Passion]

Another soulless, talentless, overshallow piece of garbage created only to farm easy cash from the most undemanding crowd without any tastes and quality standards. The writing and plot are so idiotic and lame that I can assure you that even I myself, if writing a story on the go with a speed of thinking here and now, will definitely do a way better job than this dev. I'm sure that he wrote this mess in the same way, without any second thoughts and rereading what he wrote just to be done with updates with light speed and without putting in any kind of effort so he can mind his own business for the rest of 90-95% of the time between updates. Characters behave, talk, and react to things in absolutely imbecilic and unnatural ways.

80% of sex scenes are with the MC's wife, and after the second one, they become absolutely boring and unnecessary and serve the only goal - to prolong this lame, dumb, and uninspired game for way longer to farm more easy cash without the need to give expected content, be creative, work hard, etc. I don't know how low the standards of one should be to give this trash more than 2 stars...

Not too much to judge off yet, and the writing needs some editing, but it's great so far for the just-fap-don't-think genre. A bit of suspending your disbelief and it's a great (albeit common) corruption story. I don't usually come to f95zone for Shakespeare, I come for this.

Potential spoilers

The story of a young couple engaged to be wed who move from England to Australia. To save money they decide to move into a home shared by other strangers.

The owner of the large home is a sexist old man who immediately belittles the woman by spewing his macho beliefs to her. Unbelievably, the young woman still agrees to stay.

The very first evening the young woman gets groped by another man in the community kitchen who pleads to her that she reminded him of his ex-girlfriend. Unbelievably, she believes him and let's it slide. Fortunately, the story ends here.

Pros:

1- The MC has a certain appeal about her.

Cons:

1- Assuming it is a machine translation it is very difficult to read. The story is also rather ridiculous, making it laugh out loud bad.

2- The dev, for some unknown reason, repeats dialogue on successive screens, forcing you to re-read the same lines twice. Why? This is completely unnecessary and just frustrates the reader.

3- Fairly average renders.

Final Thoughts-

It looks like it will be a cuckhold/ corruption story, but it's so bad that it's not really worth the bother. At least not this version.

If it's the devs first attempt at creating a VN he should seek help with the story and find a good person to proof read everything.
