Unreal Engine - Under the Witch [v2024-11-26] [NumericGazer]

A game with legendary status in the 3D porn animation community. The absolute best hand crafted original female models, the greatest femdom sex scenes imaginable, and good audio design and voice acting.

However it's overly ambitious with the type of game it wants to be. It wants to be a femdom sex game set in a fantasy world with beautiful female characters standing in your way but also wants to be an open world turn based RPG with a ton of stats, skill trees, and equipment with some action mechanics mixed in. And it does one of these extremely well and the other quite poorly. The game would be better at the very least dropping the open world aspect and using a more traditional visual novel format because as it is the story is very lackluster and the "gameplay" is basically a tech demo. The rest of the game is a glorified scene viewer, but could be improved if the scope of the game was narrowed and made more practical. I can't see any reason why players would actually enjoy the "gameplay" portions of the game even if the game was in a more complete state.

And thats the biggest issue with this game. Updates take extremely long, and the structure of the game is so messy that it's basically become 3 different games by now and are separated by chapters. I don't see any chance that the dev will be able to merge these games together and create a cohesive experience and I'm not sure how they're going to manage the Steam release going forward. Everything about this game screams "the dev bit off more than they can chew and they've either locked themselves into a lifetime of work or they'll quit before it's ever finished." It's nice that the developer is working hard, but that doesn't really say much in the Erotic Adult Game space. There's tons of devs working hard who actually want to finish games or at least give players a realistic roadmap and just as many that quit or screw up partway through. I've never seen a hobby with so many highs and lows, but having been around for a while I know where my expectations should be at.

Bottom line is this game still won't be finished by the time The Elder Scrolls VI releases. Hell it probably won't even be finished before Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 comes out and that is no exaggeration. I cannot see myself supporting the developer financially because I don't want to give money to something I'm only going to play once a year and for less than an hour each time at that and be comfortable knowing the game may never be completed. But I can still appreciate the work that goes into the sex scenes and designing the females and respect the developers vision of the game; however delusional that may be. I think if anything, it has brought us some of the best NSFW 3D animations ever made and won't be topped for a long time to come.

The Gothic Alpha is absolutely gorgeous! I was able to run everything on very high (4090, your settings may vary) The only graphical issue I saw was the mirror didn't reflect my character very well (kind of see-through (unsure if this is an engine issue or some incompatibility with the character)). Very minimal clipping, and excellent animations. Sadly you can't jump on the bed and overall there is less content than I was hoping. It is truly an Alpha right now, hopefully the dev has all the foundations to pump out the rest of the content of the game. Anyway I'm looking forward to updates, been wishing for more of this for years!

Great game, it's annoying at first if you're someone that's not into femdom, it can be quite frustrating but it's very rewarding at the end of the game once you beat them and reclain your "pride". Great scenes, great models and interesting game overall. Fun game worth a try for sure.

I decided to give Under the Witch its 100th review.

This game is popular for a reason. Although the beginning part isn't too impressive for me because i find the witche's feet not very detailed, as soon as we get to the sister part of the story, it is the hottest and most high budget, animated foot fetish/femdom content around.

Sis has some of the sexiest feet and body i have ever seen and she is extremely sensual in every aspect. Her Japanese voice actress plays a big role in making her special.

I write this review, after the stockings cutscene and i have to say, every scene so far is golden. I have little to add or critique in terms of how amazing they are.

One thing that could be added in the cutscenes to improve the experience, are some dialogue options to be submissive or hard to get. That would make everyone immerse themselves more in the situation thus giving an even bigger turn on.

Also, I'd like to see some give up or submission options in combat, which is very bland and simplistic so far.

Last but not least, and maybe this unlocks later, i don't know, but it would be great to beg sis for a repeat of certain scenes with some added dialogue. ( Even more humiliating the 2nd time around because you asked for it.)

1. There are a few kinks in here, but the main one youll see MOST of the time, regardless of whether its your thing or not. FEET. there is a fuck ton of foot stuff, and i hate feet with a passion, more of an ass guy myself. i just feel like most of the games sexual interactions are based on feet, and that really ruins alot of the interactions for me, as being mainly foot fetish based, i cant get my rocks off to feet.. now the couple of anal scenes it does have are fucking amazing. but theres just very few of them.

2. the games progression system is rigged to have you repeat a viscious cycle of losing over and over and over and over again, with each time you becoming a little stronger, and each time getting closer to winning. but i just feel that having this as its only way to progress becomes way too grindy and tedious.

3. a lack of kinks. it mainly centres around foot fetish stuff. sure theres a few other things. this is a japanese based game studio, so expect your strange and creepy things like armpit licking and degeneracy and creepy shit that to us westerners are just strange. however, it has it. but the problem i find with J hentai games, it focuses too much on the wrong things, the main penerative interactions in these games being oral and vaginal, and if youre LUCKY youll get one or two anal scenes in the mix at most. these games, this included stays within the stereotypical samey kinda niche style, and refuses to branch out more to appeal to a wider audience.

4. the story is shit. it is. noone comes to this game for the story. the grinding is horrible, the progression system is bad. but the animations are so fkn good. i cheated the golden tickets for oral and anal for the witch in the cave, and by god those animations alone were GOD GOD GOD TIER. but as much as the animation quality matched throughout the rest of the game, it centred far too much on sniffing and foot stuff, so its a boner killer for me.


SUMMARY
This game is one of the best quality games youll find in terms of the animations it offers. theyre draw droppingly great. however, the niche focus on feet stuff as its main source of interactions, does kill the potential quite alot. if this game branched out more on anal and ass play with the ladies more, id be more than willing to give it top tier marks. imagining this with a range of diverse kinks paired with the quality of the animations, and some QOL changes to gameplay and progression, the ratings would break the scale. but with how centred this is on feet, thats why its a three. the animation quality has an outstanding 1000000/5 rating. i hope the sequel ventures out more on its kinks, however, if it follows in the same footsteps of being essentially a foot fetish simulator, then i see it falling flat, thats if the sequel ever fkn releases at this rate. the cave lady is my favorite with that thick hairy ass, damn. bring me more quality animations like this, and id be happy

Personally, found this from random videos on some website, thought the scenes looked pretty nice, tried the game out and I have to say, it was totally worth it. As a guy with a foot fetish and liking when the girl takes charge, this was quite a spectacular experience, hoping for the other episodes to come out hopefully.

The game is similar to that nasty, Tower Trample and so on. If you do not cheat, it is impossible to defeat the enemies. Just like Tower of Trample, the player has no choice but to give up and fight the same battle over and over again. There's no getting around it, no matter how smart you try to play it.

This game is a waste of your time without any reward! The game starts with the number 0. This character has 0 chances to defeat the boss, the witch. Under normal circumstances, the player would have a chance to improve and win. No, you won't lose or gain XP or graded potions here.

After winning, you will expect some benefits in Chapter 1. Even if it's just a small bonus? No, in Chapter 1 at level 1. Now waste extra time, run past the overly detailed rock, pick up sticks and rocks to sell to the merchant.

Gear helps you win, yes. Is the routine worth it? You can't do anything. What is the purpose of the game? There isn't, it's a glorified gallery. As for the story, there is nothing remarkable about it. You are the powerless loser protagonist, the sister in chapter 1 abuses you until you are defeated.

Witches have no development to speak of. And the "mission" system is limited because you should only lose to bosses. Now ask me, what are graphics supposed to do in a game? Enough to meet and exceed expectations.

Under the Witch has many props scattered across various areas that serve no other purpose than to slow down the show; the cave is a perfect example of this. The area should be loaded separately from the rest because there is a lot of clutter in the store.

Also in the game certain things don't work as expected due to the leveling system. The witch has an attack that should end the game instantly. Not if you're too smooth. So all that dialogue building is gone. Like any company trying to play here.

What is a game? Something you can invest time to improve and get positive feedback after you master the skills or levels you need in RPGs.

In my opinion No.1 3D femdom/fetish RPG combat game in development. It's made in unreal engine and 3D models are unbelivable quality, not to mention model styling, moves and voice acting is also top calls (even though voices are in japaneese). Storyline seems similar to Tower of Trample and Domination Desire Banished (hero battles or submits to dominant witches / demonesses). Game is still short but has like at least 30 femdom scenes fo far. Dev seems to be very active on patreon with monthly updates on new stuff and the new playable update will have tons of content including a progressive castle setting and and at least 6 new witches. can't wait

I'm not a lose to win fan but it felt good to beat his bitch sister at first.

Controls wise, the game feels natural. QTEs are a bit extreme for me because i'm not a PC player but some people might like.

I know this is only the alpha but it contains bugs like when you enter the shop (i know i'm not the only one noticing that). I actually beaten Alice before knowing about the shop.

Last thing, the game is like an open world but there's nothing to explore... It makes it frustrating for the player because it's a waste of time. I would either shrink the map or at least put some quests that are worth exploring in the next patch.

Other than that, it is an interesting game for people that love lose to wins and grinding. I gave 3* because it is not my kind of game but for the realism and design, i give about 4,5*
