Hey Wizards!
Shady Character One here!
It seems like only a couple of days have passed since I wrote the previous devblog entry. Most likely, that's because of the food-induced proto-comatose state I was in after the New Year's celebration. But there might be other shenanigans at play here. Either way, I am back to the world of the living now.
And I have finally finished writing the second Trial! The main part of it, at least. The intro with all the girls coming in to give you a pep talk. The main trial itself, which somehow turned out to be even longer than the first one. Not by much, but still. All the win and loss outcomes are also written. So the only part I still need to write is Bassant's performance, which we'll be watching from the sidelines, and the actual results of the Trial. But that's not much compared to what was already done.
Also, a pretty exciting thing for me: with help from one of our passionate fans, groundwork for adding sounds to the game has been laid. I had been putting this off for so long because I didn't have any idea where to start. And after so much time had passed, it became more and more difficult to even think about approaching this issue. Thankfully, a fresh perspective really helped, and for the first time in a while I'm actually excited to try adding some sounds to the game. We'll see how it turns out. Maybe the next update will include more than just new text and art.
Speaking of art: Shady Two is trying to do what she can to bring as much artwork as possible for this next update, but as before, I'm adding more tasks to the pile faster than she can finish the previous ones. Hopefully, the new outfit for Violet's date will be ready for the next update—maybe even some artwork—but as for the Trial, I don't know. This one seems to need even more complex artworks than the first one, and we don't have any art for it yet.

Well, we'll see how it goes. Keep your fingers crossed.
