Took me a while to complete it back then, and I only completed its base-game for reasons I'll write below
The only good thing this game has is its assets. Apart from it, nothing good from gameplay to H-aspects. In fact, the sexual aspect is barely there and people already pointed it out on their own reviews so go see what others say about its H-aspects
Gameplay-wise, it feels wrong for several reasons
I don't care about it being hard, but it is FAFO-kind of hard. Try play on normal difficulty, it doesn't give you any indicator on the very first environmental hazard you encounter. You'll die just like you die on Cat Mario and you'll learn to git gud by memory. While it only happens on that specific area, it is still a bummer that this is the normal. Spent the rest of my normal playthrough jumping over omnious blood spilt on the floor until I decided I didn't want to play in normal. It gives you environmental hazard spikes indicator on easy, and from this I found out that those spilt blood were just blood
The combat system doesn't connect either. What good are kung-fu moves if you have unlimited gun-fu on your hands? On a more serious note, CQC rewards you so little for such risks.
Just use guns, shoot into the void and pretend it is a Contra game
Lastly, I thought this game was a regular stage-based game, until I finished the main story and then found out that the rest of them are rogue-lite stages. A ridiculously hard game AND a rogue-lite? Yeah, no, I'll pass
In the end, it is one of those games that makes you wonder if the developers just slap things into it. At least it is a finished product and the art is good too. Shame that the conditions to unlock them are grind-ish
Final verdict: 2/5
