Unity animations not playing?

Certain games on the unity engine work for me, but when it comes time to play an animation they just freeze and I have to force quit out of the game. I updated my GPU drivers and have restarted, but to no avail. These games (and animations) used to work, but I have no idea what has happened to cause this.

Does this sound familiar?

I have no problems with Unity animations, can you name a few games where you have problems? Are they "video" animations or "ingame" animations?
