Overview:

This crack disables the various checks Inceton does as part of their DRM in the least intrusive manner possible. No more replacing script files that contain more than just DRM code. This makes it compatible with future versions of their games until they change their DRM system. See the notes on cracking included in the README for how to do so if I'm not available to update.

This has the side effect of unlocking all bonus content for you that doesn't use bonus codes. If you do not want the bonus content to be unlocked, uncomment the bonus_active() function in the crack.rpy file. See the file for instructions on how to do it. Steam and GoG versions automatically have the bonus content active and this won't work if you want to disable it for them.​

I debated if this should go in the mods forum or the cracking one. The cracking forum appeared to only be for discussion around cracking and requests so I decided to put it in mods. Hopefully that was the correct choice.

Tested with Thot on Trial v0.6. Seems like you have to start the game first before you copy over the mod folder.
Basically you start the game, close it and then copy in the mods folder. I had a lot of errors when I did it with the mods folder at the beginning. Sadly, didnt screenshot the error. Just in case someone has the same issue

I had thought I tested this on completely fresh installs for all games (all game save data deleted and a freshly extracted install), but I realized I did that before I added the ad-blocker code. I forgot to do it again afterwards. I fixed this in v1.0.1.

Still doesnt work with Thot on Trial - Cant click load and cant right click without error

I am not able to replicate this. Are you using old save files or other mods? There are people on Inceton's Discord server reporting issues with using saves from before v0.6.0. The errors they are seeing sound a lot like yours.

I'm 99% certain your errors are unrelated to this crack, but if you can share a save file and the error message you are seeing I can try to debug it.

Did a bunch of debugging and I'm pretty sure I found the cause. This post I made over on the Thot on Trial thread has the details, including how to fix it.
