VN - Ren'Py - University of Problems [v1.5.5 Extended] [DreamNow]

if consider all elements of this game separately - except beautiful 3d work - nothing special. But in general - playing it - i've got a lot of pleasure. Probably, it's the most important)) And for 0.2 version - was done huge amount of work.

Pros+++

• Renders.
• Girls are pretty nice both looks and personality wise.

Cons---

• Similar looking characters.
• The dialogues feel a bit off.
• Story is similar to literally every other college-setting game.

A fairly promising VN to say the least. The renders are superb with nobody looking overly busty or disturbingly anorexic; they're all rather realistic and the textures are very clean

All characters are very likeable and have relatable personalities; nobody's traits are exaggerated to a degree to force us to like or hate someone just yet. You can tell the MC ofc has the libido to have sex but it's nice to see that he isn't just thinking to fuck everyone he sees and seems to have a pretty wholesome personality.

Only thing I will say is that the dialogue is sometimes a bit choppy and showcases a decent amount of grammatical errors, both instances usually going hand in hand. However, I'm not going to hold that against the dev with what looks to be a promising game. I look forward to what he has next

This VN is a Diamond in the rough, its still in the early stage but i have to say that I AM A FAN.

Pros :

• The characters rendering looks great and likable
• The story is flawless so far, even the story about college, fraternity, sorority is cliche but i really do enjoy it so far.
• The background quality is top notch

The social media UI got improved! it is much better now.

Not the smoothest animation but not that bad to make me reduce a star

Could be one of the best game on the F95, that is if the dev could keep delivering awesome content like these last 2 versions

Renders are amazing the story is pretty cool game has lots of potential only problem for me was the phone and not being able to swipe down to see the messages which got kinda annoying but other than that great job looking forward for the next update

Very interesting setting and game i must add. Characters and renders are excellent, story is very interesting as well. Each character that i encountered seams different which is more then cool. Dev advertised that this is choice based game where you build relationship like in real life, which means that there will be not only sex betwin MC and some girl but you'll support her and be there for her, which in all honesty is fine. I'm tired of games where you have boner girl sees that she gets crazy and jumps you or where you can fuck instantly anyone you cross . This game seams different which is good and even on early stage its good, definitely play it. If you're capable support dev, i know that i would but corona bs (lost job).

I can see a great deal of potential with this game.

Pros:

• The female characters are gorgeous, not to mention unique compared to other games.
• Great renders
• Good animation
• Some good H content for such a new game
• The characters are quite interesting/likeable
• Well written

Cons:

• None so far

It’s still early days, but I can see this becoming one of the best games on f95.

Great start for a game, the girls look hot and the MC isn't a total tool or an ass like some other university games.

some of the renders do look a little too plastic but that can be improved.

Didn't peak my interest enough.

- The renders are good. Nothing extraordinary but they look good enough with a variety of different girls.
- Very very generic setting. It's the same trope we've all seen before, nothing really stands out, typical mc with all conquering dick and zero substance.
- I don't have a problem with school setting but dev really needs to flesh out a more deeper world in future updates to make it interesting.
- Animations are a bit iffy but nothing too serious. It's ok. Like everything else, it's average.
- Just generic. Everything feels bland and nothing really pops out and it makes player lose interest. There's too many games and too little new ideas.

I'll probably drop by again in a year if this game continues past halfway point.

Really really good looking renders, definitely looking forward to the next patch.
The Story is kind of predictable but the renders for the girls really work the magic for that.
A choice system for the sex scenes would also be really good but who knows whats about to come in the next patches.
Overall for the first release a solid 9/10

I'm reviewing based on what has been implemented in the game so far. Overall, really nice start with plenty to look forward to.

Pros:

- The renders are really nice. The girls look fairly realistic and are all fairly attractive, to me at least. I know different people like different things. I do wish Natalie and Roxy were a little more fit I guess since they seem to spend a lot of time in the gym, but I know not everyone likes really fit/muscular women. A bit more variety would be nice in terms of races, body sizes, etc, but again this is a personal preference. What is included is definitely great.

- The UI is great and easy to follow. The phone and Notepad are excellent and I really like games where bios and things update as events occur. Really enjoyed that and didn't really see any big bugs or anything. As someone who knows how to use Daz but not so much the coding side this was great.

- The setting, while common, is nice. I mean either you like the fish out of water in a college environment setting or you don't. I personally do. I'd introduce some more male characters though, so it doesn't seem like he's the only guy along with Eric at this school. Could be friends, could be rivals, could be more comedic relief.

- The renders themselves, the lighting, composition, etc. is very nice and titilating. Makes me want to see more.

- Favorite character? Definitely Roxy, but I love the alt looking girls and she's the only one in that category. Plus I like non vanilla stuff and she seems the best candidate for some naughtiness.

Cons:

- While the script is fine, there are some weird runons and grammar structures. Nothing that's too jarring, but I did notice some weird phrases.

- Besides Roxy, Natalie, Rachel and Yuki the other girls kinda blend together and look fairly similar. Slender, small to medium sized breasts, white, longish hair, etc.

Final Thought:

Really nice start with a good amount of content. Lots of avenues to explore and someone for everyone to like. Personally I love the college setting, the fresh experiences, and the opportunity to have some fun but also something more sinister down the line (if wanted).

This game is very solid thus far, and while there are many games on this site with the same premise (i.e. guy goes to college, has sex with girls), this is definitely up there among the best.

PROS:
I love the character models, and I have yet to see one that I do not like.
The story, while similar to others on this site, is very solid
The story is going at the right pace: we do not jump right into sex scenes and instead build relationships with them (expect for 1 character)
Navigation through the phone is very simple.
The choices seem as though they matter and aren't just pointless options incorporated to make the player feel like he's doing something

CONS:
I do wish the sex scene available and hope that future ones are more fluid. Though with that being said, I am still impressed with the dev's renders and animations

This game is DEFINITELY one to watch, and I hope future updates are just as fantastic!
