This was the first college setting game I played and have enjoyed every update. The story catches my attention, and the relationships between the MC and each of the women are interesting. Some of the relationships are quick and sloppy while others are a slow burn.

All of the renders look great. It is hard for me to grade just renders without including the character's personality. My favorite character has to be between Sarah and Yuki.

As for the story, it is good. It is branching story with several things happening. There is the history with Carol and Yuki, the progression of Sarah as a person, Ashley's battle with college life, and so on. My favorite story at the moment is the MC's involvement with Vlad and the "research" they are doing. At the beginning, I found myself wrapped up in the Rachel story, but as the Yuki and Sarah storyline progressed, I found myself gravitating toward those two more. HOWEVER, none of the storylines are horrible. Each one will grab each person differently.

The game is easy to navigate. No freezing or jerky animations. I also notices no bugs. Overall, this is a great game. I would recommend you take it for a spin.

Overall, the story is good and mostly engaging and the animations are great. It is much more story driven and relationship building than it is wanton sexcapades and at this point in the build, the MC has only been able to actually have sex with a couple of the main girls, though there's a good amount of high quality renders of each of them either nude, mostly nude, and/or in other fun and sexually compromising situations.

The English can be rough in spots, some characters have broad, unrealistic emotional swings for the sake of drama, and the MC says some very cringeworthy things from time to time, but I found it quite engaging nevertheless.

As a VN, you're choices mostly revolve around building relationship points with the various girls, and aside from making choices not to pursue certain girls storylines, I don't think there's really a fail mechanic, nor any consequence at this point for trying to sleep with every girl you come across.

Overall, it has some warts in the writing department, but the art and some of the fun kinks, such as public sex, student/teacher relationship, and some dom/sub options make this worth the playthrough and a follow.

For some whatever reason i can not explain, i have been playing for 45 minuts and i find this very very very boring. Renders are definetly awesome and some girls look totally different from the rest of the stuff out there, the hip bone displacement thingy looks better on some girls and worst on others, but some may find this boring as hell. So far havent seen anything different.

I expect this thing to give more space and maybe offer better deformations, i hope, so far havent seen it.

One of the reasons i am not liking this is the MC, who sees a teacher and decides to get close to her, without asking my opinion on the matter. Well, i dont like her, and he obviously does, so we have a dissagreement, and that is a Top inmersion killer. The firs scene with her, i picked the options that didnt give point, still gave her a massage, i fear that im gonna have to fuck her even with 0 Relpoints, and so far i avent seen any option to chose engagin in lewd acts, they just happen.

The Gymn lady that has some conpiracy goiung on, it looks like some sort of cult that looks for cocks, and of course only MCs cock is valid, cause in a collegue where there is 300 adult males, only on is worth it, THE MC god send penis, well.

Another thig i dont like is, for some reason, it happens at least 2 times, girls have traumas or whatever, and they decide to tell their drams to the MC, the only one willing to listen to them, even wehn they just met eachother. I love collegue girls, they are so open!

Anotehr thing i didnt like is after the Roxy stuff, The mc thingking, she is a Nympho just cause she sucked his cock. Its not like there is much proof for that statement.
The MC not being a virgin but during a sexual encounter he stutters mor than Crysis on a 90s PC.

All this stuff seems very poor to me, and is makiing it hard to keep myself inmersed. (at least its making something hard, cause so far, thats its only achievement.

So, overall a game that looks really good, and different, but feels kind of "Nah", and turns out to be the same that other similiar themed games, just worst.

One of the best games out there. Firstly the renders are amazing. UI is immersive. Kinky and specially Sasha and her scenes are amazing. Hope that more of those get added. And is overall an good experience. Other girls are great. Plenty of sex scenes. Doesn't bore you with the story either.Give it a try.
Femdom Scenes Love It Nothing Is Forced And Only If You Like It

I love games that have a college setting, and this is one of the best. You get a lot of important choices, and the storytelling is wonderful. Each girl is very unique and it is sometimes difficult to pick which one you like the most. I will have to play thru several times to see some of the different paths.
The game is not even a year old, but it has a LOT of content... hats off to the amazing developers!!
Make sure to check this one out, you will not be disappointed.

Hard to rate this game. It has interesting art which sometimes looks very good, sometimes very strange. The writing is hard to keep up with due to the poor English, clearly not a native speaker. This made it very hard for me to get into it. The phone in the game started bothering me because it needed too many clicks.

Review:
The problem that his game has not become a great game is precisely because of its beginning of the story and its plot. If there was a rich plot with a story where everything could move along the tracks it would be perfect. So this is one of the main causes that made many players give low ratings, like me. However, without a shadow of a doubt, the renderings are flawless, getting to be almost perfect, but small details make you realize that they are just really good and the gameplay is not very appealing, at least for me. It lacked some features that could make the gameplay more fun and comfortable, even being a VN game where you choose to accept or decline most of the time.

History:
Don't get me wrong, but I couldn't follow the story because there wasn't much interest in it. The game could have started with a better plot, something that the MC went beyond being a simple student. In other details, unfortunately you don't feel in a college environment, it lacks a little more interactive scenery to make you feel like you're really in it. The relationship with the girls is very superficial, it's like you're the last man on earth or the best looking guy around, without having to compete with other guys or anything, but fuck this, it's a porn game isn't it? Exactly, but even if the game is set on a campus, the story has a little to offer you and since the game is VN, there is little to be exploitable.
Gameplay:
One of the things I HATE about this game is precisely that you are forced to answer messages received on your cell phone, yes, you have to answer to continue with the relationship with the characters, but the problem with this is that this routine in the beginning ends up becoming extremely boring. I know this is part of the game's story, if you're more interested, you'll be able to read and understand more what the characters are talking about and see your involvement with them, but that was something that bothered me a little. There is also another thing that is something like Instagram, something totally useless, but if you want to improve your relationship with the characters, you need to comment on your published photos.
Now comes the gameplay part, there comes a point in history when you use point-n-click, I don't know if this will be definitive in the future but if it works well I don't see much of a problem. The game works with relationship points and player stats, something you need to have enough points to unlock a scene with a character, but what about baskettball skill? it reminds me of another game here...
Graphics & Sexual Content:
The graphics are really good and the renderings are one of the best you'll see from many games here on the site, but this has a certain ''however'', Sometimes you will notice that some characters appear to be similar to each other, such as Rachel and Carol. They are not sisters and their faces are similar, it can also happen with other characters, like for example your definition of body look alike to others. I don't see much of a problem with that, for me the renderings are wonderful, for me sensational. About the sexual content, it's great, the animations are almost perfect, they're really great, we know nothing is perfect but I have to congratulate the animations and sex scenes which are great. I had commented that there wasn't much slutting in the game, yes, it looks like a little scene with Roxy was added something pretty reasonable but hopefully there's more, so I take back what I said. The content is great and very enjoyable.

Why I did gave 3 stars?
What can I say, I like to see games being developed and developers caring about them, I may seem very critical but I started giving it one more star because the game is getting better, although the plot is still not very good and the opening story is not something that surprises you and makes you interested in it. It looks like halfway through the game the story is a little better, but unfortunately that won't fix the little damage it caused. The sexual content is improving and I'm hoping it will continue, after all, what matters most in a porn game is its porn content. Anyway, University of Problems had everything to be a great game and it to be among the top of this site, it's not a bad game, as I said, but it's because of its history and some of its gameplay mechanics. But I hope this improves, as I saw that the results are being good. I will follow again, if it improves, I will change my rating again.

To begin with, I note that this is a very good game and I don't understand some of the reviews below.

The renders and animations are amazing (especially in the latest updates). I like it when the dev pays attention to details, poses, textures, environments, and so on. Of course, there are few games with a cooler visual component, but because of this, they have much less content. So, solid 5 points.

Plot. Yep, it is not perfect, but this does not mean that it is not interesting. Unlike most games, the UoP story is focused on a more adult audience, because the game touches on many problems of modern society. It's better than boring teen dramas. In addition, I like the dev's attention to small details, the development of characters, various hints, and so on. Although I'm sure 99% of the players don't even notice it. So I'll give it 4 points. For a porn game, this is a good story. And I don't understand the players who play such games for the sake of the plot. Better read the books, comrades.

Gameplay. Nothing new or unusual. But I put a solid 5 only for the PVU social network. This is a very cool thing! But I would like to have a greater impact of these apps on the story or standalone events.

Updates and content. Dev releases major updates every month. What else do you need? Solid 5.

About similar faces. At first, I was also a little upset that in such a cool game, 2-3 girls have very similar faces and bodies. But in the end, the game has 7 LIs and a few more secondary girls. So everything is OK. In addition, the dev acknowledges this in his notes and says that this is his personal taste. And I respect his decision. Many much more popular projects suffer from "similar faces".

I would also like to mention the sex scenes. In my opinion, having sex with Carol in a hotel after a first date is the best thing I've seen in adult games. For the ideal, the dev needs only to add the sounds of sex for such scenes.

To sum up, UoP is one of the best games in this setting. There are some minor flaws that I would like to fix, but this will not make me give the game less than 5 points.

I played this and the entire time I thought to myself "Why am I playing this ridiculous game?"

All of the models look almost identical.
The writing is simplistic and silly.
The sex is robotic and anything but erotic (due to the poor writing, pacing and plot)
The plot is completely ridiculous and not in a fun way.

For the life of me I can't understand why this game has so many 5 star reviews.

If I had to sum University of Problems up in one word I think I would pick uninspired.

Is it the worst game I have ever played? No.
Will I remember playing this game in a few days? No.

Uneventful, generic, and forgettable.

Ultimately, the biggest problem is the terrible writing. It is really, really bad. A lot of the times I feel like I am reading the authors notes about what the characters would be saying when the dialog is actually written. Clearly this is an issue caused by someone trying to write in a language that isn't their native language. That is understandable, but it just doesn't work. A rewrite would help quite a lot. Not a proof read, but a rewrite. Human beings simply do not talk like this. It is hard to relate to any of the characters when they all seem like computer AI masquerading as human beings.

I love your NV, it has a lot of quality and potential, the writing is pretty good, the renders have a lot of quality, animations too, but I have a problem, the design of your female characters are basically the same,
except for a couple, that personally means that I do not care about almost any female character in particular, perhaps maybe the teacher, remember that the characters are not only a good script, they are also something visual, the more personality and unique they look, the more they attract the attention of the reader / player, keep up the good work, cheers.

I'm surprised I did not notice that game sooner. It largely deserves its score. I was a bit reluctant at first, with the banner - I thought girls all looked similar. The result in game is thankfully better. Don't understand the other feedbacks saying this game has a weak story. It's not gonna win a prize anytime soon, but it works in the setting and serve the game well. I'll definitely keep updated on this one.

Models and renders are great, music and "production values" and atmosphere are fine.

Writing is kind of OK (too much 3rd voice that tediously explains what you see anyway, too much "tell instead of show").

LIs are mostly too cartoonish and ridiculous to be relatable. The usual absurd situation that you have all these incredible attractive girls that seemingly never met a male that was not a complete asshole; and now the player proves, by clicking "yes" to "Console her?", that he is a caring and deep person, which immediately gets rewarded by a blowjob.

Gameplay gives some illusion of choice, but my impression (not sure about that) is that this is always just of the form "Peek on / Deal with ...? Y/N" If no, scene ends, if yes Lust- or Relationship-bonus or whatever and some nudity/sex/...

But the real problem here is the painfully stupid story. Don't even want to start.

I really don't get it: It seems that tremendous amounts of care and effort and talent went into this (composing the scenes, choosing models, rendering, ...), but why can the developer not try for a few days (or team up?) to think of a story and game mechanics that is not entirely asinine?

The renders are the only reason I bother to play this one. I don't much care for the story whatsoever. A good plot writer would have put this game up there with the top dogs, but unfortunately, the plot is just generic. I mean really, hurr durr I need to pleasure this evil rich cunt so I can free this dumb ass cheerleader from her prostituting sorority. Why the fuck doesn't she just take fucking evidence herself and go to the media or upload it online, where corrupt fuckers can't stop it from getting out? It's such a stupid fucking plot that relies on the player and every character to be a moron. Like it's so fucking hard to get evidence and upload it anonymously, so I guess I'd better ask this rich whore that totally gives a shit about me for help. What year is it again?

gameplay is good, models are absolutely gorgeous. wondering if there are different routes to be taken as i am too hooked on Carol to try the other girls. keep up the awesome work and i am really looking forward to many more updates

University of Problems is well worth your time if you are looking for a fun visual novel. For me, one of my favorites.

University of Problems has great graphics, good story lines and a variety of possibilities. Each charachter at the minimum has at least one obvious psychological profile which in turn, can make you think about their past and how they got this kind of behavior.

I have the most fun running each play through focusing on one girl.

I have never found a "perfect" visual novel, and, thus don't judge these kind of products too harshly. I can also appreciate the amount of work that goes into such a production.

It is interesting to consider, pre-Internet, how this kind of novel was marketed in the days of books. Millions of this kind of novel were written in paperback and could be found in what were called "adult book stores". Granted they were not interactive with multiple outcomes but otherwise the comparison is fair.

What I also find interesting: it is my opinion that the author of University of Problems could have a very successful career writing "R-rated" visual romance novels with Ren-Py. Look at the hype and success of "Fifty Shades of Gray". And that wasn't even a digital interactive product.

If the author decided to take that path, I think his biggest problem would be where to buy his third vacation home; how big the garage has to be and what kind of house staff he wants to hire.

very nice renders, i love the story and the scriptwriting is ok, alot better than other gamesyou can find. the updates are really worth the wait and this is really promising.

I would like to give it 3.5 stars, I'me enjoying it way more than most games out here. The graphics are super good, I love them, animations are great, models are a little off, they are all hot but they look similar somehow, maybe they all have the same nose, idk. There is a lot of care in many details, very well appreciated.
The writing is ok, but the characters are very dull, one-dimensional, it's full of cliché, the plot is too far-fetched.. nobody expect anything too fancy or original from a porn game, but having to constantly roll your eyes is painful.

I suggest anyone to try and play this game, but it would really need a great improvement on the screenwriting part.

This game bounces between #2 and #3 on my top college life games. It isn't a perfect game, but damn it I just can't get enough.

The story starts out like any other college life game, the MC goes to college. Crazy. But unlike others, this one has a plot thicker than just college life. There is almost a GTA V heists feel as of the latest update (0.4). Like any good AVN, the story goes deeper than just sex.

The models are nice, but I have a bone to pick. Why do almost all of them have the same nose? Look at the banner photo for this game and tell me those noses aren't almost all identical. There is little variation in the female models. Skin color and hair are the biggest difference and even then I get confused as to who is being talked about. I'd like to see more differentiation in the female models, even the MILF looks like the students.

The art style is that reality adjacent porcelain smooth look that I think works quite nice. The only things that are really lovingly rendered are the feet strangely enough. The rest of the bodies are smooth and almost featureless but the feet you can see the veins and metatarsals very clearly. I'm not much of a foot guy myself, but these are really nice looking feet...but their out of place. They look way too detailed for the rest of the art style.

The MC looks like a college aged man, unlike some other games that seem to confuses high school freshman with college freshmen. He is a good looking dude and has a good sense of style. I can't tell you how many games are hurt by a generic donkey-faced MC. He has a. blank slate personality that is mostly molded by the choices you make as a player.

Choices: you make em! They actually matter too. There is a decent point system that works two-fold. On one, there is your relationships with the girls that is determined by your social choices with them. On the second is your character attributes; intellect, strength, charisma, ect. Your stats in a certain area will lock some social interactions and open others. The game is designed to be played multiple times. Also, don't worry, the stats aren't hidden away leaving you to wonder what the hell is going on, you can see them on your phone.

Speaking of phones: you can't have an AVN anymore without a phone! The one in this game is pretty limited. You can text other girls when prompted and look at stats/ tips. There is a social media app but I as of 0.4 it is unusable. There are also some light free roam sections, some of which have limitations, so look out and save often.

The game is done really well and it seems to be written by a native english speaker. If I had to guess it would be someone from the UK or Australia because of some of the vernacular/phrases that are used. I enjoy the pacing, although some of the relationships start seemingly out of nowhere with little work being put into them, so that's odd but I can live with it.

This one is certainly worth a look. It's polished, the visuals are nice, the story is thought out so far, and the characters are more than just sex dolls with vocal cords. There are light animations that improve the games quality as well. In the future it might be my bonafide #2 behind BAD and a true 5 star worthy game, but I'd like to see it really set itself apart in future updates.

An excellent game.
Plot is enjoyable and realistic. Mechanics are user friendly. There's a great variety of scenes; plus, it's regularly updated. There's a good quantity of female characters which i find appropriate in order to manage the story.
Only one bad aspect: some girls are similar to each other.
