VN - Ren'Py - University of Problems [v1.6.5 Extended] [DreamNow]

Great so far. Excellent renders, realistic (as realistic as porn games get anyway) slow burn story, plenty of options, and no grind at all. Can't ask for much more than that. I will definitely be redownloading this on once it's complete.

Really fantastic game - great renders, scenes, and characters. I'd go for a 9/10 since I'm not a big fan of how the Extra Content is handled, but otherwise this is definitely one of the best 3DCG games ever.

First of, why not 5 star?
This game is really good! And, it`s definitely creeping in my top 10!
Renders are amazing(most of the time), kind of unique, animations are somewhat few(compared to AAA titles) but really nice and hot!
Story is complex, in terms of relationship. Many characters are really realistic, with feelings and personality. Lots of romance and story...
Not all characters are pretty or attractive but very unique and cute in many ways

Downside is not an original story and execution... Developer is trying different things, like interactive walking, sometimes point and click etc...
That`s the only reason for 4 star. There`s also lots of teasing and somewhat slow progress, but that`s fine...
Lack of originality in story and confusing gameplay at some times...

Overall, highly recommend to try and to support this developer. I think this game really deserves the hype!

Sometimes I think some characters are similar to each other, anyway I've already known from the very beginning this will be cool game, I like it, animations, choices, gameplay and renders are really look good, especially renders, they look differently than other games

Gosh this game has so much potential. The UI, renders, scenes etc. are all very polished and beautiful. Animations are not that great--too choppy because of so few frames causing skips.

The introduction has a great flow and doesn't have the problems other games have of long endless walls of exposition and inner monologue. The whole poor kid gets accepted into rich university backstory of the MC is pretty cliche but here I think it works pretty well. So far so good.

Then it all just goes downhill.

Where the game really suffers is the WRITING.

The dialogue between is oftentimes awkward and unnatural, and many times just CRINGE. I read some lines and think to myself, sure it's grammatically correct English, but NOBODY talks like that. Breaks the immersion. Dialogue should be more casual and informal. This game could really use a rewrite of the character lines. Too many cringey "hee-hee" moments from Carol and other girls.

So many unrealistic situations and scenarios. Especially the sex scenes. Zero build up. The MC literally walks around and finds himself in sexual situations with people he's just met.

MC taking a shower in the gym? Horny girl walks by and jumps on his dick.

The girl who is head of the main sorority on campus runs into the MC, a freshman, gives him a tour of campus and then later that day literally invites him to come meet all of her girlfriends to play a spin-the-bottle type game. All in the same day.

Another example is when the MC takes his first history class, becomes the teacher's assistant, then gives her a foot massage after school--literally all in the same day.

It all just happens too fast in the most unrealistic ways possible. No sexual tension, no buildup, no story. When the situations are so unrealistic, it completely breaks immersion in to the game.

Another strange thing is when the MC meets a new girl, it seems like her number is automatically stored into his phone because suddenly they are texting buddies.

Just really bad writing. This game is otherwise visually stunning.

Weaknesses/Neutral:
- The bigger picture story line (the corruption case) is rarley picked up. The story feels more like a slice of life story (which is not necessarily a bad thing)
- You have the possibility to follow/date multiple woman, but it kinda feels of. The dialogues between the dates and the mc always assume (or at least feel that way) that he is only dating one woman. So the story in its current form feels the most natural, if you make multiple play thoughs im which you date just one woman.

Strengths:
- The woman are beautiful and have different personalities.
- The best, most natural feeling animations i came across so far.
- Really good dirty/lewd talk during sex scenes.
- The sex positions are unique and executed really well.
E.g.: with a normal blowjob sometimes the balls are additionaly held or massaged.

Conclusion:
University of problems is in its current form a slice of life story with interessting characters. The biggest strengths are the lewd scenes, which are in my opinion the new benchmark for other developers.

Great 5 stars. We talk about excellence. Excellent renderings, excellent realization of the characters, good development of the plotter. The girls look is both innocent and sexy at the same time. Huge potential. My compliments!

Best animations and visual, I love the story and each character. If there's a game I'd fully support this one is it.

Choices don't matter. Even if you don't have enough points to choose an option, the characters will say you made that choice. It happened to me every time. But I really enjoyed the game, the atmosphere is amazing and the relationships you can build with the girls are nice and romantic.

Simply the best game I've come across
1) beautiful renders
2) excellent storyline
3)MC is not a misogynistic prick
4) every character has their own background story
5) not just a sex game
All in all I would say despite being a sex game it's very well written.
And yes excellent use of music too

Very well made game, renders and animations look stellar! I can't wait to play the full game! Very easy to navigate and clear instructions on what is needed for certain events and great introduction aswel.

Excellent. I played many romance visual novels but only two vn's got my attention one being mother's love and another is university of problems. This one is criminally underrated. Renders are gorgeous and unique. Each and every girl has different personality but oh boy i love Roxy. Every characters are likeable and storytelling is also good. Bravo.

I know there are fetishes and tastes for all audiences and I don't complain if the game has lesbian material, but I just think that people who don't like it should be allowed to avoid it.

Quite simply, if a love interest of the protagonist turns or is a lesbian, you should be allowed to avoid her until she is no longer part of the story.

I say this so that the player can take the story of the game to their liking. And for that, you should have the freedom to choose.

I cordially say goodbye, always congratulating the creator of the game for his high-quality work. So far this was one of my favorite games.

One of the best games of the genre I've played.

Models are beautifully crafted including the MC model; Renders are almost impeccable, with great attention to detail; Animations are short but well done and maintain the same quality as the images.

All characters are well written. They have their own problems, desires, goals and distinct personalities – They feel fully fleshed. The amount is really well balanced. It doesn't make you feel overwhelmed with lots of names, stories and stuff to remember.

The history doesn't have a main stablished plot moving forward, but multiple sub-plots that will appear and evolve along the game and they're interesting to follow. The progression has a great pace and doesn't feel too slow nor too fast.

Overall, amazing experience. 5/5. I'm looking forward for more content.

It's a very obvious clone of that other college game, but it's a very good clone of a very good game, so that's not really a big deal. The English isn't always perfect and the writing is sometimes a little off, but the story is still good enough (and unique enough) to be engaging. The art is beautiful and there's a lot of depth. It's certainly worth checking out & supporting.

This is another outstanding college based game. Great graphics, engaging story and I and so in love with Rachel...Roxy...Carol...well you get the idea. Wow, this is one you do NOT want to miss. Please support the dev if you can. This is top notch work!

Version 6.0

This was the first college setting game I played and have enjoyed every update. The story catches my attention, and the relationships between the MC and each of the women are interesting. Some of the relationships are quick and sloppy while others are a slow burn.

All of the renders look great. It is hard for me to grade just renders without including the character's personality. My favorite character has to be between Sarah and Yuki.

As for the story, it is good. It is branching story with several things happening. There is the history with Carol and Yuki, the progression of Sarah as a person, Ashley's battle with college life, and so on. My favorite story at the moment is the MC's involvement with Vlad and the "research" they are doing. At the beginning, I found myself wrapped up in the Rachel story, but as the Yuki and Sarah storyline progressed, I found myself gravitating toward those two more. HOWEVER, none of the storylines are horrible. Each one will grab each person differently.

The game is easy to navigate. No freezing or jerky animations. I also notices no bugs. Overall, this is a great game. I would recommend you take it for a spin.

Overall, the story is good and mostly engaging and the animations are great. It is much more story driven and relationship building than it is wanton sexcapades and at this point in the build, the MC has only been able to actually have sex with a couple of the main girls, though there's a good amount of high quality renders of each of them either nude, mostly nude, and/or in other fun and sexually compromising situations.

The English can be rough in spots, some characters have broad, unrealistic emotional swings for the sake of drama, and the MC says some very cringeworthy things from time to time, but I found it quite engaging nevertheless.

As a VN, you're choices mostly revolve around building relationship points with the various girls, and aside from making choices not to pursue certain girls storylines, I don't think there's really a fail mechanic, nor any consequence at this point for trying to sleep with every girl you come across.

Overall, it has some warts in the writing department, but the art and some of the fun kinks, such as public sex, student/teacher relationship, and some dom/sub options make this worth the playthrough and a follow.
