Howdy peeps. So, I've got an interview coming up with Selectacorp, the people behind

and

In regards to this interview and interviews with adult game developers I've done in the past I generally create a list of questions on my own related to their games and also include questions from various communities. Then during the interviews, if something they say triggers a need for clarification I will generally ask a follow up question that isn't necessarily listed or co-opt a question that was planned later and include it earlier if it's relevant.

So, my question for you all is, do you have any questions specifically for SelectaCorp, their games, or just adult game developers in general that would somewhat loosely apply to Selectacorp? I try to include as many questions as possible in the overall interview while not taking up egregious amounts of the developer's time.

Just one question: Why don't they allow cheats / don't make it easier to allow for cheats. Singleplayer game, doesn't hurt anyone...

That's an interesting one as their games are all inherently singe player. Well, most adult games are. A lot of them do include cheats(A Zombie's Life) or use a system that easily allows for cheats if the player so chooses(Ren'Py). Good question!

The biggest for me is the outdated presentation engine they use for the games. It's pretty much an engine made for businesses to use for multimedia slides and for teaching purposes. I like that fact and the reasoning behind it.... but what if they take the time to custom build their own game engine so it's not "limited" or prone to video errors? It's also something they can sell or even license to make some money.
Case in point.. play "Dr Diggler" by fugue.. it's a heavily modded home-built engine based on Renpy/Python/Javascript called Ganesha. It plays smoothly and is quite capable. He's developing the engine ALONG with the game so why can't the "brilliant businessmen" behind Selectacorp do the same?

I always find their game has solid background and game based design, but also find their games lack of porn contents. Funny thing is, unlike other game lack of porn, their game has whole lot of potential to fill in a lot of content, e.g. in the game of , they could simply put porn content in each of character you control, or allowing player to have more choice to pick different women into your harem.
Of cause more content means more developing time, but many of their game already build up a strong and stable game play system, compare to that, adding content not only is easier to do, but also making the game more rich more satisfied

That's a good question. I'm not even sure what engine they use but it's assuredly "wonky" to say the least. They have solid gameplay mechanics but the engine is such a drag comparatively. It might be like the Free Cities developer who uses Twine even though it's not meant for the game he's made. For the question(which most assuredly relates back to the question asked by David just above and will probably be asked concurrently) "Does Selectacorp, as a development studio, have any future plans to create a custom engine for the style of games that you craft?"

Hm, I started State of the Union but never finished so I know nothing of the level of content in that. I do agree in regards to Mysteria Lane which I found somewhat lacking and repetitive. "In regards to your games which have a strong gameplay system implemented, are there any plans to create a game featuring a larger variety of pornographic content to complement that gameplay?"

How do they work? How many people are behind the brand? Same question as others: why not use another engine with multi save load capabilities, and not a powerpoint like engine that is NOT intended for games at all? What are the futures projects? Will they use also renders or will they keep using IRL photos?
