The main reason is the "DisableTextMeshProScrollInEffects" option. This should be "true".
Here is my ini file with some changes.
You can paste it in \Game\AutoTranslator.
I'm using the version XUnity.AutoTranslator-ReiPatcher-5.5.0.

Annoyingly it's a glitch with xunity, if you disable it then you can see the save slots
