The TL;DR for anyone who's interested in the game but doesn't care about what happened and why:
I'm not making Remain Pure, but I am making a different futaxtrap VN named Unsealed Hero and plan to have the prologue out by the 25th of this month at the latest.
So about a a year and nine months ago, I made a post, introducing myself and my at the time VN project, remain pure. I doubt anybody remembers it, but I just wanted to post here that Remain Pure is dead. It will not be made, because of a lot of reasons. One, it was more of a 'spur of the moment' thing than an actually planned out story. Two, I realized the more I worked on it that it wasn't the type of game I wanted.
I'm 27 now, I don't want to make a high-school/college romcom type game. I want something more serious, but not non-con or dub-con like a lot of the games I've seen in this genre. Third, I sucked at making characters in Koikatsu and couldn't animate a scene well to save my life. I've improved greatly over the last year and nine months. If I still had the models from before and you compared them, you'd have no idea the same person made them, it's such a big difference.
Lastly, my entire E drive containing everything for the game got wiped earlier this year around march-ish, so I had to start completely over. Which, in hindsight, is good. I wouldn't have liked the game I was making long term and would have viewed it as an obligation if it gained any traction, rather than a passion.
So if you made it this far, thanks for reading this wall of text. The game, which again, is primarily futaxtrap with trapxfemale (it'll make sense if you play the game, I promise) will be released by the 25th at the latest. I have the prologue finished as of today. I may post a synopsis or some images here before release but it depends on how much time I have left between the release on the 25th and getting it fully ready to be released.
Once I've released it on Itch.io I'll try to figure out how to make a post for it here.
