Except the "Creation process" isn't really... creative, is it?

Do we just do away with traditional art now because it's "outdated" ? The main issue with AI artist and even the fans is their need for every image to be perfect. Art isn't supposed to be just based on the need for perfection. It's a pretty boring concept as well as lazy. But who cares about creativity when there's copy and pasting involved?

I could ctrl+c and ctrl+v your words in any AI-game thread to any possible reply, and it would feel just as empty and bland because it's just bitching with made-up arguments and some "deep" philosophy and nothing more (AI is bad, creativity is dying, copy-paste, original authors suffer, etc.). I'm not even defending this game or dev; for all I know, it can be another lame cash grab AI slop. But talk was about the art, and one should be blind to not see that here it is way more complex and detailed and definitely way easier in production. Yeah, there could be typical AI glitches here and there, but it doesn't change the fact even in the slightest.

AI-slop literally cannot be anything but unoriginal. AI can't think for itself despite the name, it just copies the styles of real-life creators, using their hard work to make something that's generally not even half as good, just a lot faster. (and more energy-intensive). It is one of the reasons people hate it so much.

./game/scenes/world/coffeshop/julia/coffe_shop_julia.rpy #71: replace coffe_shop_map by coffe_map (untested, but looks like the correct fix). (Next time put the traceback in a spoiler please.)
