Trying to be as fair as I can but it's really hard. The entire game concept revolves around Akabur's unfinished magic shop. In-fact at a quick glance without reading the developer name you'd immediately think someone found some Akabur's hidden gem. Sadly there's issues:
1) Art. The art style is beyond rough. On the first page of this thread you see the average everyday user spent 10 minutes and vastly improved the art. This shows the developer doesn't care in the slightest, and passes sketches off as complete works of art. You see other developers here with the art skills equivalent to someone drawing stick figures, but at least they put effort in.
2) Concept. Unoriginal and clear cut copy of Akabur's game. Obviously his game is unfinished, but just the absolute feel of this feels like I am playing Akabur's game. I am assuming that's where he got the idea from.
3) Length. Yeah, new game, don't expect it to be lengthy. But 5 minutes of play time? Why release it if it's barely a demo? In game there's advertisements of potions, social media, etc. you barely get a feel for the potions let alone the social media aspect. Can barely even call it a demo.
4) Patreon itself. The developers description box is 3 short sentences basically only saying "Hi", "Porn game", and "be nice". Besides that the lowest amount of money to spend to unlock the game is $3. Honestly? For a developer that puts such little care into the art, concept, and development AS WELL AS their patreon account there should be only 1 option: $1 donation.
All I can say is that I wish this developer can put effort in, come up with ideas of his own, and actually give the audience something to enjoy. Solo dev or not, the amount of effort put in is saddening.
