Using Mods with Steam games?

How Would install a walkthrough mod or other cheat mod into a Steam version of a game?

most (if not all) renpy VN that end on steam have no protection at all (not even steam api dll) so how you do it here, you do it there; but beware many games on steam are one or a couple versions older than the one on this site so you will most likely need an older mod version
