Yeah, sorry about that. Figured that out by redownloading the game. Apparently I had originally downloaded the game a little more than 3 days before that update. Funny how life works

. Short version is that art assets for new scenes are in the works, the updated balance and gameplay are being feature-tested for bugs and general playability, and the new interface is being finalized. Looks like a tentative schedule of 'hopefully by Christmas' for the next update.
I tried launching the game and this happened. The "not rendered" parts of the game still work, I can click on them an menu's still open. But it's unplayable in this state. This happens in some other games I played too but I can resize those games via the corners of the windows which usually fix the render issue. But I can't resize this game by just dragging the window corners. Therefore I have no idea on how to solve this issue.
I'm currently on Win7 x64 and java 8 271.
Could someone help me with this issue?

the problem is, porn isnt just sex. what gets you turn on in a porn could very well be a massive turn off if it happened to you.
belive it or not, more than half of the people that enjoy ntr, wouldnt want it to happen to them.
when it comes to traps, its not about gay or straight, i enjoy trap porn, but i have absolutely no desire to have sex with another guy. saying you must be gay because you enjoy traps is no diferent from saying you want to kill people because you enjoy shooters, or the saw movies.

One thing involves the consensual sex between two people the other is literally murder. I would dare to say there is a difference.
If you are getting turned on by the thought of having sex with men. Especially if it's between the choice of another man (trap) and woman? Well, isn't that the literal definition of homosexuality which I posted in my earlier comment? There might be a slew of outer/inner factors, that prohibits one from expressing said homosexuality in real life. Yet it doesn't change the circumstances of the attraction. Mingling the other factors from the reality of the situation and calling it complexity is not the "answer".
One could indeed be bi with a penchant for same–sex with men, but wanting traps above women is not a straight thing. A statement which I originally sought to rebuke.

Personally I abhore the genre (and it's in many ways meant to illicit those feelings), but NTR could serve to affirm the love of another one. Maybe you are not sure, but going through the thought of having the loved one being with another person via (projection of) an NTR game could be enough. That subject is indeed complex.

im a little confused right after downloading 
. instead of a file with the game name i got "bin" and "jre" on win10 desktop. do i go into bin/launch.exe or the ventureseas.jar?

This is on the Steam beta branch at the moment, so someone with a copy of the game on Steam would need to download it and remove the Steam API from it before we can get it here. Otherwise we're going to wind up waiting for the mainline Patreon update, whenever that happens.

Nope, the build here is the one from back in May. Latest build is available via the Steam beta branch or Patreon, but nobody has uploaded a copy to add to the OP yet.
