So many issues with the game just from a design perspective. If you open it on PC if you are on a smaller monitor, the game will be cut off and the start button will be hidden away, which is the reason some people have not been able to even start the game.
Second it does a crappy job at guiding what you have to do, every room just says locked with the majority saying "Needs research room", you gotta click the one room that looks just like the rest, that is the research room to see that it costs 1K to unlock. Which goes onto the next issue, hiring goons is just a waste. It is the most obvious way to spend your money at the start when you explore the menus, and it is a complete waste since you want to save 1k for the research and opium room. To top off how useless it is, hiring goons to make the main story quest easier barely increases your odds. From like 30% to 37% chance with all 5 hired. And that is for the FIRST MISSION. Good game design at least makes the first unlock or mission easy to do to guide the player along, show them the ropes, and make them feel like they are progressing. If you just slam a 30% chance to succeed with a 55 second cooldown on the first mission that just feels like ass. Also the 3rd mission is bugged and plays the dialogue for capturing it when u just click it for the first time.
This also kinda leads into, the first level up from gathering xp takes SO LONG. Yes have it scale exponentially but the first upgrade costs 500 xp, and you are stuck with 1 worker giving you 25xp every like 2-3 minutes. And to level up the individual girl they need 100xp and they only get 1 per customer served. Just make the first few levels and upgrades quicker to get and then let it scale up to be grindy. But if it is just mega grindy before even the first upgrade again that feels like ass.
There is more I could say, but I will end it on, dont call the bloody minigame Poker and then have it be Blackjack..... Change the sign to "Casino" or something and then have it tell you it is blackjack when u get inside.
