QSP - HTML - Vicindio [v0.8.3 Twine] [Solid Snekk]

Rough around the edges but looks bright for the future. I recommend playing the Twine version the QSP is no longer being developed and is far more janky than the twine. Over all I enjoy all the content and it seems to be updating frequently. Great job Snekk. I look forward to the future of this game.

Hilariously rough and unpolished but has both charm and incredible potential .
my only problem with it so far is there are no gilfs and such ,mature women are peak too.
The combat is kinda barebones but what's is there is somewhat fun but the story is where it really shines

    Rev @ Vicindio [v0.8.3 Twine]

Specifically applies to the current Twine version, which I acknowledge is in development/migration:

Art's fine, but it's a mishmash of images and edits sourced from everywhere with little consistency.

Writing is intertwined with coding: There are interruptions and omissions that made me feel like I was reading a transcript of a scratched CD skipping. I can't tell if it's a writing fail or a coding fail.

Porn's fine, appreciate the ability to avoid anal.

As I mentioned above the coding issues led to a great many blank Twine screens that necessitated using the menu buttons until one happened that prevented even that fix, softlocking me out of wanting to restart.

    TLDR: Going is rough, atm.

Menu-ing is a little clumsy, there's quite a lack of content, and a lot of basic mechanics like companions are bare bones right now, but allowed to cook for a couple more years, this may be the sandbox H-RPG game of my dreams. Was able to have a bit of fun with what's in the game right now, but I'm desperate for more.

I just wish the HTML version wasn't so buggy, and that I had a some more clues on how to find content.

    Version v0.8.3
There is nothing here. This is a bare bones attempt at a game that's extremely convoluted and nonsensical. None of the art is consistent, the writing is poor and bloated, and many of the features don't work.

This game just feels like a mess with way too many ideas being pinned and nothing being fleshed out. Don't bother playing it in its current state. I would wait until version 2.0 before trying it out.

Played the QSP Version, have not yet played the HTML Version.
Reviewing this as 5 stars, as there is a massive amount of potential and already a huge variety in the game already. There is also a huge amount of depth to explore in the world that the dev has built.
The QSP version was a touch clunky (but that may just be QSP), Other reviews also mention the inconsistent art style, but this isn't a massive issue for me. although the quality of the art used could be improved. (I may update this after I play the HTML Version to see if there have been developments in the art style...)
Looking forward to seeing how this develops!

Two different versions, my review is for the 0.7.8 Twine version as that's currently under active development.

I like the game but it has flaws :

    The art isn't always consistent.
The game is not fleshed in heavily in certain areas.
Lots of bugs crop up on releases (however, are usually quickly resolved and the developer is active in the forums).
Some content feels mislabelled/misleading (gay content I know has been a problem for some).

Having said that, I'm cautiously optimistic that it will develop into something better - the developer is active and will discuss things on the forums. There's a lot of content I like here and I enjoy sandbox games in general.

At the moment my opinion is basically let it cook and we'll see what happens when it starts catching up to the old QSP version in terms of content.

Game does have a lot of potential like others say, good amount of content and places to go. It looks like the dev is currently working on moving to the twine engine and adding a paper doll system which I think will add a lot to the game.

My biggest issues that stop me from giving 5 stars currently are:
    1. Inconsistent images.
    2. Global lack of direction, while it is a sandbox the start of the game is hard to figure out.
    3. Navigation can be overwhelming and it's easy to forget where you are
    4. Sex scenes are fairly short and very repetitive. Images usually don't match the person you are with and it kind of ruins it.

A game with a surprising amount of very enjoyable writing. The scenes are what you expect from a QSP game, but the mechanics are much more fleshed out. It feels like everything you do impacts everything else, and you're rewarded for being clever. Come for the fetish, stay for the characters and convoluted plot!

One of the better - Maybe even one of the best games in that Genre.
You have a lot of options to chose from, different start, looks, gender and so on and so on. Some of the content is really well made and thought through, sometimes even really well written.
The Dev tries his best to create the best possible game for us, listens to advice and stuff like that. Even implementing stuff people wish for, really dope.

The game itself is a rather simple QSP.
Like, you click, you go, you do. Y'know?

The game is very entertaining and you can easily spend 30-40 hours without even realizing it.

There are some 'bads' in my opinion, for example the bugs.
Sometimes, you run into lots of them. But even tho some are severe - After reporting them, the dev tries to fix 'em accordingly.
Next thing, i'd wish for 'tying up loose ends'.
There are so many interesting scenes that just lead to a blank screen, telling you it's being worked on. Like Interaction with your Snek-Sister, your Children on the barn and so on. I'd really love to see this stuffbeing finished.

But again, one damn fine game in my opinion.
    Go play it now.

    Addendum:
The review from Golden Twink isn't accurate.
Don't know why he says stuff like that, propably angry about some butts not being smashable. There's Gay Content. Not sure how much, not into that, but there is. Everyone that played QSP before calling this a dissapointment is beyond help. No hate, no bad blood, just my opinion.

Propably the best of fantasy text-based games around with a great potential.
A bit buggy in current state but pretty fun to explore with a bunch of power-fantasy content, decent writing and interesting-to-follow questline

Truly, one of the most intriguing and promising projects! Really like it, much more interesting then original Rubedo! Interesting economics, quest writing, huge variations of characters and much more. Especially likes companion system. Original project (Rubedo) gave a solid gameplay base, but wasn't so plot concentrated and did not show the worlds's lore, such as Vicindio did. Hope that dev will continue making new content and fixing bugs in future updates.

As a lover of QSP games, this one is a... complete disappointment.
    • It's "sandbox" while being very linear, there's lots of "future content hints" everywhere that are pretty much just dead ends
    • All "gay content" is for whatever reason not gay content and is treated as futa content
    • Sandbox Sex Scenes are just copy and pasted everywhere unless you're doing one of the linear story quests
    • All pictures are anime stylized with massively varying quality and different types of art styles
    • Said art is as well not at all resized for the engine so the image takes up the entire screen.
    • To add onto all of this , the game is incredibly buggy
It's just all around a complete disappointment and isn't enjoyable to play whatsoever. I keep coming back in hopes that maybe it'll get better but it never does. Don't waste your time on this.

This game has one of those untapped potential. It's hard to learn how to play. The levels are kinda confusing, like I don't know what to do or which mission am i supposed to do first. There are times when I ask myself, 'where can i find weapons?' or 'how do I get the money' (you need to apply for work).

Travelling is confusing. No quest marker, and no maps to show you where you are going. The images are descriptive and quite good. But the images are not complete yet... But I believe this will be a very good game.

    (I'm currently playing ver. 1.97)

The game is very cool and incredibly keeps getting better, congratulations on your work. I'm very excited for when the transformation system is added, in fact, the slave purchase system will be added to use on the farm or milking in the hospital.

At first glance, Vicindio doesn't look like much. Another text game with "potential"; 20min of content bookended with "WIP" is what one would expect, right?

That initial impression ends up being grossly incorrect, as the amount of content at even this early point is titanic when compared with other games on the site that have been around for years longer. Not only is there a glut of content, it's woven together startlingly well and the game keeps track of nearly everything you do and makes certain that all of it adds together.
This is the obvious work of a single person with an understanding of what they want to do and how they want to do it. Truly, it's nothing short of impressive how much of an eye for detail the dev has.

However, the game is early in development and it shows. I've come across a number of bugs, big and small, and there's a lot of things that just seem broken. Looping bandit battles, blank pages without text, and save game corruptions are just a handful of the issues I've experienced while playing. Also, navigating the world is best described as "incredibly tedious and an absolute pain in the ass" (even after you acquire the various shortcuts available to you-- though they do help quite a bit).
It says a lot for the parts of the games that do work, that I was willing to look past the many faults to keep playing anyway.

In any case, if text based sandbox games are your thing, this one is definitely something to keep an eye on. It's worth playing even now just to observe how well the dev weaved the various quests and missions together, a rarity in the genre as most other games of this ilk are crowd developed and end up feeling like a collection of short stories mashed together without care for cohesion or harmony (TiTs, CoC2, Girl Life, etc.).

Good QSP Leviathan. Spiritual/literal successor of Albedo, without too much spaghetti and far more modern. Nice direction of development, I've been happy if updates happened more frequently, though.
I have a lot of hope for more incest/transformation flavors and themes

Despite all its blatant flaws and rawness, I fucking love this game, it's a subjective 5/5 from me, something about this game feels like the original Corruption of Champions did back in the days: warm, fuzzy and perverted.

I don't know why nobody really tried to put together a QSP game with drawn art, but here it is, finally. Or at least the skeleton of what it could be. The gameplay loop is almost nonexistent and the game plays more like an adventure than a complex RPG. On the plus side, there isn't much grind and combat. Explore, do small quests, interact with the characters a little bit.

It's a promise of a game, but goddamn, it's a really nice promise. Really hope this turns into a community-developed game and gets saturated with more content. Godspeed, Snekk.

A solid start to a game that I hope gets fleshed out and finished as it has a lot of themes/tags that I've been looking for.
While currently quite buggy and early in development the dev seems very active in taking feedback and working on polishing the game so I have a lot of confidence.

This game is frustratingly buggy and confusing. That isn't unusual for QSP games but this one takes it to a whole other level. I tried all 3 different starts and they each ended up within a minute or two putting me in a position where it was completely unclear what to do next with no other apparent option but to just wander in circles forever, and many of the places I wandered into had me stuck there with no choice but to use the emergency exit button. Not much else to say. If there's anything of interest in this game it does a very good job of making sure you don't find it
