VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Vicky's Investigation [Alpha/Prerelease] [Dumb Koala & Lain]

Going to rate this for what it is: An incredibly well done, short, one shot story. Took me about 30 minutes. It was excellent. I like the art, the model, the sex. If you pushed me for a criticism, it was that the transitions seemed slow.

This is my first time playing a Game from DumbKoala and I got to say it was pretty phenomenal. The story is rather simple and the game is really short, it was quite enjoyable still. The renders are great and while the game isn't really repayable after, I highly recommend trying the game and I plan to check out what else he/or she have made so far.

First of all, I just found these two fabulous creators while browsing the site and have to say that I am not disappointed at all. As for the first game, Vicky's Investigation, I would say that this game was the foundation of his idea.

The final project is very well done but unfortunately a bit too simplistic. It is quite difficult to distinguish the personalities and certain details are unrealistic. However, there is something that amazes me a lot in this game that I have not seen elsewhere. The wetness and the squirting animations was a big big plus for me!

So, I will enumerate the pros and cons according to me.

Pros
-The graphics and the characters were really great.
-The base idea is there.
-Plenty of sex scenes.
-No bugs detected.
-Realistic bodies.
-Good fetishes for me.

Cons
-Can't change the name of the protagonist.
-Story is a bit cliche.
-Stiff animations.
-Some sentences are strangely written.
-A little short.
-No music or sound effect.

For the base idea its a great game. If you want to play a little sex game with a simple and short story it's an excellent game to try. As a big fan of kinetic novel and story not to elaborated, it was perfect.

The game is really good however it is sadly very short.
Its quality character textures and design with lens blur in scenes brings brings the game to life and further pushes its immersiveness.
The lack of any sound of music kind of puts you off, but I would much rather have no sound or music than bad sound design/music.
The game is pure quality when it comes to character texture with its crisp life like skin.

This VN deserve the 4+ rating for sure!
IMHO it could've extended over a few more renders and some more stuff could've happened.

Make sure you look into the other VNs' these two have created.

Really hot!
Pure Kinetic Novel. Maybe about 10 minutes to read through; no choices.
Daughter is a little bossy toward the dad but it also just seems like a young girl posturing, so not that bad even if you don't really like that type of stuff. I choose to interpret it as the dad just letting her mouth off while he gets to fuck her.

Excellent for its (extremely limited) length.

Semi-realistic plot leading up to the intimate moments, and the FMC is actually portrayed as a more dominating figure toward the MC when compared to most other VNs that I have played.

Definitely give it a go if the tags interest you--if you end up not liking it, you've only wasted 15-30 minutes.

The ones with only females in them are a bit better since those are more caring. Overall I did like a few things about this one.

The renders look good but there aren't very many animations in the game considering that they are rather short it wouldn't seem like it would be to difficult to add some animations. Maybe they will come back and do that another time?

But any time a male is involved it just seems to be a constant stream of hate towards him. Happens in movie night as well. If your into that though you will love this VN.

The sex scenes are still rather sexy. I just skip some of the dialogue.

Quite a short game but for what it is, it's well made.
I'm assuming the game will be developed and turned into a real game or visual novel, as so far it's very short, and because of that the dialogue really lacks a bit. It feels rushed, as it has to be because of the length of it. Having said that, the dialogue is still quite erotic, it's just very fast paced. As for the artwork, it looks fantastic. The character is nice to look at and everything else is good too.
I hope this game will be continued as it is a good introduction, and then it will be a 5* game for sure.

Excellent short story!

Characters seemed believable, situation was plausible. Graphics and dialog were pretty good also. Great action between a young inexperienced daughter and a naughty father, and the daughter ends up really liking it.

Oh sooo gud! Been "playing" through all of Dumb Koala's games, Saved this one for last, cause it's the most relatable to myself, and it was gud. Nothing against the other two, but there's a penis in this one, so you know, samesies.

Theses guys have dropped 3 "games" recently. Quotations cause they're more 1 really fleshed out scene, than game, but what a scene. Kinda feels like Dumb Koala is showing proof of concept demos to showcase their Kung Fu. If so' their Kung Fu is strong!

Cant wait to see what they bring next, Subsribestar if you can afford it, I mean, I gotta check out Dumb Koala's back catalog of pics and COMICS. I feel like I struck gold! Never seen her art before...

Anyways hope to see more Collabs between Lain and DK, a proper game would be amazing. Hopefully by then you guys got more fans, cause people gotta know.

Strong start.
-quality visuals, character models, and faces.
-good use of facial expression and body language to convey emotion. Most games half-ass it.
- lewd/gritty "realistic" atmosphere, clearly not afraid of sexual content. delightfully pervy, but with a little extra twist. Not boring...
-interesting absence of narration/inner dialogue during interactions. Nice change of pace.
Reasons I didn't give it 5 starts (yet):
-I can't quite tell how much emphasis will be actually be placed on story. Hopefully it will be more than a clone of typical/shallow porn stories. If story is more than an afterthought, 5 stars. If it's mentioned once and then forgotten, like most porn vids, a solid 4 stars... but probably not more.

This was a really great short game!
The daughter actively seducing her father is quite a common theme in written short stories and the stepcest version is very common in porn videos but unfortunately there are very few 3D adult games like that.

Sure, we've seen better graphics and there were no animations but in my opinion this game is already close to perfect as it is.

I think the story was finished with chapter 2 and the ending was perfect for a short game, leaving the future to your imagination, but in case it will be continued or it gets a sequel It would be nice to see another woman involved with Vicky and her father. Either involving the mother in a threesome or Vicky getting a girlfriend of hers to join them.

Amazing, sadly you cant choose to be rough or stuff like that...
also, i prefer them shaved further, i appreciate how its constructed and i hope there will be alot more to do and stuff.
like other relatives, or ways you can choose what to show on laptop, or positions etc.
