Ren'Py - Completed - Villain's Legacy [v3.0.5] [Mad scientist lab]

Best NTR by BBC on f95. Full stop. It is believable, it is hot, MC eventually gets revenge. Also, best superhero AVN on f95 as it is not very grindy, the renders for the superpowers are great, and the characters are all campy. -1 star for animations being a bit janky and English being a little shaky. This really is one of the better games on this site.

I wish it was a little longer, with more time to develop characters before ending. but for what it is, and what is in the game i enjoyed it for the most part, i liked the relationships in the story and the romance that was present. Overall i am satisfied enough with the game even if i wished for more.

I just finish this game and it's very good, let's begin:

    Plot: It's good with humor.
Characters: Are very good and the main character is very funny(and ugly).
Art: It's good but for a weird reasons I can't conect with the erotic part.
Durability: It's in middle inter average and short.
Gameplay: It's very basic like others Ren'Py games.

I recomended this game if you want a laugh for a while and not for the porn.

I liked it. I really liked it. The porn was lame sometimes and the story silly but superhero stories are like that. You´re not in it for the profound thoughts. I think the game deserved a bit more work in the endings. But whatever it´s silly and it´s fun. Popcorn style.

Porn game that I enjoyed as if it wasn't a porn game.

    +PLOT and STORY
    +Complicated MC
    +Nice renders
    +Lots of scenes
    -lots of clicking everywhere
-farming money means clicking on robbery scene 20 times
-game never tells you that a scene is on repeat so watch again and again the same scene with eg Cindy after you max the plot with her.
Sometimes I wondered if there is a way to move their plot further, but there wasn't.
-there was no ending with the main "good" heroine or his robot
-I'm not sure if the choices matter (we get an Epilogue)

I enjoyed this more than I should have.

This game feels better as a novel, the grind is... completely pointless (not so tedious with fast skip though). Still the story was a nice ride but it feels like unfinished business with so many character stories in dead ends (game has a rushed ending?) and choices that do not seem to matter (some do for scenes, that are not present in the gallery?).

I really wanted to enjoy this game; and for a while, I did. The unique premise, accompanied by the well-written dialogue and immersive scenes, makes for a pleasant read. That being said, at some point it just feels like the game loses track of where it should go next.

It never feels like the protagonist is growing as a character or accomplishing anything. The game starts off by establishing the MC's motives by humiliating him in the worst ways possible, but then it struggles to keep that same energy and make the "antagonists" unlikable enough for our revenge to make sense. Most of these heroes have never even seen the MC, and some of them (like Wonder Girl) are just straight up innocent. The game then tries to force some pretty dumb reasons for us to dislike them, but it falls flat and feels aimless.

We're told that publicly humiliating these heroes is a way to bring a revolution, but there is zero world-building to accompany that. Due to the sandbox nature of this game, you never really see your progress. You just click around, grind for money, mess with some heroes and maybe get one sex scene or two with them.

The witty dialogue, funny comedic bits, quirky characters and immersive scenes are proof that the dev definitely can make something great. The text is so well-written that it's genuinely a blast to go through each scene. It's just that the overall experience feels average, like the game is decent at a lot of things but never excels at any of them.

As a porn game, Villain's Legacy is disappointing. When conversations are more prevalent and have ten times the amount of lines as the average sex scene, that's when you know that you're gonna have to get off to something else. Don't get me wrong, the dialogue is great, but I'd love to see more sex scenes instead of having to grind for money to justify the needless crafting system. Sex scenes are sparsely sprinkled throughout the story and feel short and uninspired.

The supervillain formula is common in porn games, and it is so hard to get it wrong. All you have to do is create desirable heroines with a touch of uniqueness and let the player subjugate them in satisfying ways. It should be a power fantasy where the player is in control. Villain's Legacy doesn't do that. Instead, it tries to humanize the heroines, which completely blunts the edge of an otherwise great story. All the heroines and sidekicks have... their own lives, their own past, their own thing going on. All the girls have an ex-boyfriend, ex-fiancé or an ex-husband, or they go out to party and fuck on their own, or they start dating each other. Even the android you created had a husband in her previous life, has sex with other girls behind your back before ever having sex with you, and just leaves you at some point. You also don't keep any of the girls captive in your base for longer than you need to. You never really control anything or anyone here, to the point where it feels like a satire of porn games. The MC is just a good guy trying very hard to be a villain, and the result is a milquetoast experience that fails at both fronts. Even the revenge theme in this revenge story feels underwhelming, and on the very few times you actually do something evil, you get lectured by another character and are forced to feel bad about it.
Side note: Incredible Woman is the only heroine in the entire game that feels like a proper character with an enjoyable storyline. Her repressed personality and lack of experience make the process of getting to know her and getting her out of her shell satisfying.

On the visual side, the game looks good, even amazing sometimes. The lighting in particular is really good. On the other hand, some of the character models look very dated, and the protagonist looks like shit. Look, I get it, they made him ugly, scrawny, short, and gave him a micropenis to set him up for failure and public humiliation. But the fact that he remains ugly and sickly-looking throughout the whole game is still insane to me, and we see his face a lot. Taking down the Valor League and getting revenge while still looking like a sex offender doesn't feel like winning. It just feels like winning the battle while losing the war. On one hand, it humanizes the protagonist in a "don't judge a book by its cover" sort of way, like Shrek. Seeing an ugly bastard reassuring a pretty girl and smiling genuinely is very human, and that's cute. On the other hand, however, it forces the reader to dissociate from the story, and it denies us the satisfaction of seeing him improve on the things that led to his humiliation in the first place. That's just not the message that this game is trying to convey.

    Conclusion/TL;DR:
Villain's Legacy is a well-written game that unfortunately suffers from bad narrative decisions. While each scene is very fun to read and full of charm, the overall story is aimless and unsatisfying. It's a unique game, that's for sure, but the sandbox elements and shallow protagonist ruin an otherwise good experience. If you're here for the porn, you should look elsewhere. The visuals are nice, but the sex scenes are short, empty and unrewarding. And to top it all off, the endings are awful, if you can even call them "endings." You just get a quick narration of how each character is doing now. There is no proper ending, not even a short scene with the girls. Nothing. Just nothing. At the end of the day, if at least the endings were good, I would be inclined to give a higher rating.

I enjoyed it after completing the game. There was minimal gameplay fluff, and straightforward routes for all the girls. The game follows a good main character route, which is a refreshing choice. The female models were unique and had fun costumes.

The graphics are pretty decent overall
there is a story line with plot elements, the ending really does feel like it needs more fleshing out.

the grind is a bit much for money but not overly dragging.
I do wish the author would have stated no new content for people like Wondergirl, jessica, reporter and cat noir and it was just repeatable events.

I look forward to seeing what the author comes up with next

tl;dr version: Good idea, mid execution.

Basically, I think the core idea here is actually pretty cool - recruiting a harem of superheroes (or supervillains) with their own unique quirks and powers. It could even make for a good management game where you are training their powers and such, and there are sparks of it in here but it's very light. Instead, we have a sandbox game where each girl has her own path and you can unlock scenes by either completing other paths or crafting gear from money that you can earn pretty trivially. A bit underwhelming but I guess it's not a slog at least.

Other people have touched on the writing and its flaws. I sorta expect a superhero story to be somewhat unrealistic in its characters, but the decision to make the MC an ugly scumbag just seems very odd - like he could have been an anti-hero or a villain with actual virtues, but he repeatedly manages to seduce superheroines (oftentimes after directly fucking up their lives and assaulting them) by saying that the heroes are worse than him. It's really hard to cheer this guy on or feel good about any of his relationships. I've really noticed that this is a pattern with games with Slav writers, oftentimes the LIs are treated with extreme hostility/disrespect, and then if you just say you're sorry and offer them flowers then they hop into bed with you. Must be a cultural thing..

I do give the author credit for actually starting the story off with a rather brutal scene of the MC getting cucked/humiliated, normally people throw fits over that stuff but I guess since the girls involved are not serious LIs it hasn't caused much protest. But it sets up the rest of the story as some sort of beta male revenge fantasy, which undermines any sense that the dude actually deserves real LIs at all.

At a high level I did like the story beats, and I hope to see other games work off this premise more, only with better writing and having mechanics that really blend well with the superhero theme.

This is a quirky game. It seems to be a bit of a bad parody of the AVN genre, with equally bad writing to boot. It was still entertaining, like watching one of the many bad, but cult classic movies.

Grab some popcorn, and be prepared to laugh both at the bad jokes and the game itself.

I don't review a game unless I have really enjoyed it. Too many people feel that, to make a mark, they have to toss crap on things.

I loved this game. Superhero games are a weakness for me unless they suck. This one had no suckiness involved. The art was cool, the characters beautiful (except the MC, but that added to the humor), the story was intelligent, and funny, and well-written. Sure, there was a minimum of sex, but it was appropriate to the character. The sex that was contained was funny, for the most part.

I compliment the dev for completing this and look forward to future work.

    Good Points
+ The story is kind of interesting I guess? Wouldn't say it's well-written, or well-executed, but it has some interesting details. Unlike terribly-written stories like Wonder Girl's story, there were some good ones as well. Like Incredible Woman & MC's romance development (even tho it's kind of ruined in the end) or Inferno's story or revenge MC got from Vincent, prick got what he deserve in the end or Cat Noir's story, etc.
+ Cindy and how dumb she is funny AF, sometimes annoying tho, but mostly funny.
+ The game has animations for sex scenes and some other stuff (sometimes for flying or jiggle animations, etc) and they are decent.
+ Most choices do not really matter, but at least some do.
+ Some characters like Incredible Women look gorgeous.

    Bad Points
    - Even tho some story parts were interesting, they are still not well-written, especially the romance development between MC and girls never makes sense since he straight-up looks ugly AF. And there are always some shitty parts ruining the interesting parts like the Incredible Woman acting like she has any room to talk to MC after learning he was the Mind despite MC accepting her for who she is and saving her life.
    - There are a lot of cringy and hard-to-read dialogues. Like Vincent's story at the start of the game and MC's wife and Lola is simping on him and story... And not to forget nearly every person in this world is arrogant, dumb, and liars, etc, as well. Or how so-called superheroes called MC minion of Xamurg, villain, etc, instead of helping him since he got attacked by him, and did this with zero info, pulling shit from their asses, etc, and humiliate him in front of cameras to the whole world.
    - We have been told MC is quite intelligent, in fact, one of the most intelligent beings who exist since he took his powers from Xamurg, the most intelligent being in the whole universe, and since he has nothing aside from his intelligence, that's only good thing about him, then why the f*ck he acts dumb AF? Why does he underestimate his enemies over and over again, he even lets Subconscient follow him to his base, learns the secret base location, and attacks him there, if not for Cindy he would be dead, so he literally faces with death situations and would be dead if for not some other people saving his ass? Not to forget he is using a small mask to cover his face, meanwhile, he can't cover shit since he has a very unique face & body and people should recognize him with a mask easily, especially his wife and Lola, how they can't recognize him?! That's literally impossible. Or how he constantly judges people without any info then says ''How could I've been such an idiot!?'' etc. Or how he keeps making costumes with powers like flying, or with high defenses and attacks, etc, to Cindy or Jessica, yet he is still wearing that costume he has with no powers at all. Or how he could simply create a formula to make himself powerful, boost his healing factor, defense, etc since he is one of the most intelligent beings he should have improved himself by using that intelligence, but he does nothing and keeps his weak body, considering he is aiming for revenge and fighting against heroes with powers, and how intelligent he is (at least we told he is), etc, it makes no sense him to not do those things, and instead keep making costumes for his minions/allies and make them fight and stay weak. Then later he goes and asks Cat-Noir to teach him how to fight, says he doesn't wanna just stay and let his minions do all the job, and wants to fight himself with his enemies, says this and does none of the things I told he can and instead asks Cat Noir to teach him how to fight with his weak AF body... And despite being that smart, doing all that costumes, etc, you telling me he can't do permanent dick size increase and he has to use pills constantly and otherwise, he will have his old lil buddy and will get humiliated over and over again like the scene with 4 girls at his workplace? So nothing changed despite getting superpowers or being super intelligent huh? Still getting humilated like a pathetic loser... SMH...
    - MC is self-inserted and since he looks like ugly https://prnt.sc/RqpZuwEx55to , weak and skinny, of course, he has to look like this before getting his powers since that's the whole point of the game, a revenge story after the humiliation he faced, but that doesn't explain why he didn't change at all after gaining his powers. First of all, the powers he got from the Xamurg should have changed some stuff in his body, but that didn't happen. Secondly, he gave himself a perfect dick can please every woman, while keeping his ugly AF skinny goblin body & ugly face, why? It makes no sense he didn't change his body to the perfect male body every female would want as well.
    - Ruining Wonder Girl's life made no sense since even MC had doubts and told himself she was one of the good ones, wasn't a bad person, he went too far, etc, not to forget he literally became evil for getting humiliated in public by heroes and he done far worse to her, despite knowing she is not a bad person. And it made no sense she forgave him after bringing her flowers and chocolate and apologizing... Like it's gonna change anything! Then they went on a date, talked about how important they are to each other, held hands, kissed, have sex, she said she had been waiting for this so long... Wow, that makes sense a lot!
    - Cassi's path is a big wasted opportunity, such a shame it's written terribly.
    - Aside from very rare couple ones most of the choices you made do not matter, there are a lot of unavoidable scenes that exist and your choices don't affect them at all, like Cindy's shoplifting punishments, Wonder Girl's punishment, or FF scenes Cassi or other characters has, etc.
    - Villain & Hero kind of choices we do as MC mostly make no sense at all, for example, delivering Suconscient to justice is a hero choice, meanwhile taking her as a servant is a villain one, and you get treated like a piece of shit, etc, meanwhile the second one is the most logical because there are lots of unknown things in first one like she is not getting punished well-enough because of her position or someone fixing her brainwash and she becoming your enemy again and this time being a more serious problem since she knows a lot more about you, knows how you win last time, probably not underestimate you this time and probably will kill you, etc, it makes no sense to choice first option, so second one considered villain, and people treating you like a piece of shit, you losing Jessica's love path fully, etc, makes no sense at all.
    - The game is explaining things enough and sometimes it's really hard to find what to do, you can get locked from content because of the game does not explain things it should to you and unless you ask someone or search on the internet you can't progress, like which collaborators needed for which quests, there are literally zero info about things in the game, and there are some paths like Sheryl Path going nowhere because it's actually just 3 repeating scene, but the game does not say you even that basic and important thing, instead you keep doing her event to see it will progress or not, and again you find out after searching on the internet if there is more content for her or not, it's clear as a day better tips/explanations and walkthrough are needed.
    - Facial expressions in sex scenes sometimes look quite weird and bad, especially Betty's sex scene is a good example of this. And along with MC having an ugly face sometimes sex scenes look quite unattractive.
    - Most sex scene animation angles are bad and not all sex scenes have animations either.
    - Some female character faces https://prnt.sc/sSkgTiKiYmaD looks a bit old style and kind of unattractive, they could have been far better.
    - The game is a bit grindy if you don't use cheats.

    For The End
Well, in the end, this is an interesting game for sure, it does some things good, some things terrible, and some average, if not for the writing being this weak I would consider giving a higher star rate, but with the current quality it's 2.5 stars at best since we don't have half stars I will be going with 2 stars, hope DEV will do better job with upcoming updates and at least fix some problems like lack of information the game has, interactive and animation lacking sex scenes, etc.

    Story and Character
Villain's Legacy offers a storyline that plays with superhero comic tropes, featuring a supervillain protagonist whose journey starts from a hilariously exaggerated premise. In the prologue, we meet the MC (main character), who, instead of being portrayed as a ruthless villain, earns our empathy by being a social outcast. He feels more like an anti-hero than a classic villain. Despite his quest for revenge, the MC shows moments of empathy, which creates an interesting duality. However, some may find him lacking the cruelty and cunning that would be expected of a true supervillain.

The plot flows well most of the time, with some stories standing out for their originality, while others feel more rushed. The dark humor and references to superhero tropes are one of the game’s strongest points, giving a comedic tone that softens the darker narrative elements.

    Gameplay
The gameplay works like a sandbox, where you manage the MC’s time between being a regular citizen by day and a villain by night. This is reinforced by a simple but effective gameplay loop, where you balance earning money and fame to progress in the game. The crafting mechanics and missions add a layer of depth, allowing players to create items and face new challenges.

Though the gameplay is enjoyable, there are moments where the game can feel repetitive, with some mission chains involving a lot of grinding. However, the rewards make the effort worthwhile, and the simplicity of the crafting system prevents the game from becoming tedious.

    Content
The adult content in the game, which is one of its main draws, may disappoint some players. The sex scenes, although present, often feel rushed and lack intensity. The NTR content, in particular, is introduced in the prologue as the primary motivation for the MC to become a supervillain but is not a recurring theme throughout the game. For those looking for a deeper exploration of this theme, the lack of NTR beyond the prologue could be a letdown. However, for players who prefer to avoid NTR, the prologue can be quickly skipped, and the rest of the story focuses more on the MC’s growth and relationships as a villain.

On the other hand, the game makes up for this with creative sexual storytelling and fun moments, especially involving the MC’s growing villainous crew. This helps build a sense of progression and the MC’s rise in the world of supervillains.

    Visuals and Sound
The visuals are solid, with renders that, while not spectacular, are pleasing to the eye. The animations, both in the sex scenes and regular scenes, are fluid and well-executed, which improves player immersion. The user interface is clean and functional, contributing to a smooth overall experience.

The sound design is a standout, with a soundtrack that adapts well to different moments in the game, from intense action scenes to more sensual moments. However, the lack of sound effects during the sex scenes, such as moaning, might be a downside for some players.

    Conclusion
Villain's Legacy is an enjoyable experience, especially for those who like a good superhero parody with an erotic twist. The story is engaging enough to hold attention, and the dark humor provides moments of levity. Despite some pacing issues and repetitive gameplay, the game strikes a good balance between villain progression and adult elements. For anyone looking for a game that mixes strategy, humor, and adult content, Villain’s Legacy is a solid choice, though it still has room to grow.

Final Rating: 7/10 - A good blend of comedy and strategy with potential for improvement.

When I loaded the game and it started in a slavic language, I was a little apprehensive. With a little clicking around, I got it back to English. Let's get into the game!

At the start of the game, you are a loser whose wife left you and you are just a shell of a man. Lost in your thoughts, you quickly find yourself in the midst of a battle between an alien force and a couple of buxom super heroes. Thus starts your villain origin story, in which you seek to get revenge on the heroes who wronged you.

The story progresses along well, offering you the opportunity to cheat to move forward if that is what you want but the story is so engaging that I never felt the need to use it. I enjoyed the little bite-sized stories with the MC continuing to invent new tools to accomplish his villainous goals.

Even though you are the bad guy, you can certainly play this as a man just trying to right the wrongs done to him (which I did).

I am adding this game to my "to watch" list as I am excited to see how Bad Scientist Lab will find a closing to this story, especially when it comes to his ex-wife.

It ain't the worst thing in the world, but there isn't a single aspect about this game that you couldn't describe as hit or miss.

The writing is often riddled with errors and is generally clumsy. But conceptually at least the overall narrative is decent enough and the game is somewhat entertaining almost in spite of itself.

The renders are mostly fine but sometimes things look goofy in ways that I ain't sure were intended. And the animations are mostly kinda cruddy.

The music and sfx I ultimately wound up muting. They didn't work for me.

But as is often the case with these sandbox games, it is the sandbox elements themselves that ultimately drag the game down the most. A lot of extra clicking around is added for no real gameplay benefit. The game will ask you to grind for money to buy resources to craft items to progress and it's just all so tiresome.

That and one of the supposed benefits of the sandbox format is getting to progress in whatever way you want, but so much of the content here is locked behind finishing other paths first that I really cannot think of a compelling reason for it to NOT be a regular ol' VN.

Nevertheless in spite of not really being up my alley I think there's enough here that if you're a fan of the sandbox format and the superhero genre that you'll probably like it more than I do.

Surprisingly great! Starts off a bit rough but once you get used to the game mechanics and delve into the story it's amazing.

The graphics are very well done and almost all of the character models are super attractive. The animations are short simple but very well done and happen quite frequently to keep the story feeling alive and interesting.

While not a Shakespearean novel by any means the story is engaging and the multitude of choices makes it feel like some choices really matter.

I really didn't think I would like this game but I love it and I highly encourage people to try it, just hurry past the slow start and become the super villain you were always meant to be.

    Story/Character:
During the introduction, not to give any spoilers. The introduction to his origin story of why he became a supervillian was incorporated NTR was fun. The whole introduction sets the standard of typical incel guy wanting revenge against the world but is obviously not done in a serious manner. The game is intended to be a parody of the superhero genre and has dark humour.

To be honest, you really do feel for this the MC about how weak he is and how much the world was against him. Causing me to rally for his cause to defeat the superheroes and prove them wrong. But throughout the game, through some of the stories we come to learn that he’s an understanding MC and shows empathy to some of the undeserving. I just wish he was a bit more evil and more cunning in his plans of humilating the superheroes that he hated, he seems too nice to be a supervillian.

Most of the superheroes stories are done to an adequate standard, with others having more effort put in whilst other are quite quick. Each of them are usually somewhat developed enough that keep me intrigued with their story and how the MC would defeat.

    Content:
There is a great variety of content. I do very much enjoy that there are two storylines or lives for the MC. He works at a clothes store as a normal Joe, experiencing the typical lusts of life. You also get to build your cool supervillain group to do some of your dirty work which I found pretty cool.

I was just a bit disappointed in the lack of actual sex content. Alot of the actual sex scenes of the MC just felt kind of rushed and served as a purpose to reward players, rather than corrupting the superheroes. But despite that majority of the sexual content was up to scratch and were entertaining. Despite that, I felt like most of the sex scenes were not very fappable but still were hot enough to satisfy myself to look at.

    Gameplay:
The gameplay is all about managing your time and schedule as a sandbox game to work as a supervillain at night and a normal Joe at day. Your main aim is to defeat all of the members of the Valor who have embarrassed you and hold a grudge against you. There are two main stats that are important to how you progress through the game and access the scenes.

Fame - fame is necessary to prove yourself to the world that you’re a super villain and that you have people who have eyes on you. Having more fame will grant you access to more quests and content.

The other is money, which is very self-explanatory. You go on missions as a criminal or a supervillain however you like it, to do crimes and earn money this way. Through earning money, you can buy materials from the shop where you can craft items to progress through certain quests. The crafting aspect of it is very simple and is done well. There are animations and scenes that go alongside it, so it makes it feel immersive.

Overall. I believe the gameplay is the best aspect of the game. The game does not feel grindy at all, it’s quite a blast to play. The grinding aspects of earning money and fame don’t feel mundane as it incorporate development and content seamlessly. It’’s fun to see what creation the MC has created to progress through the stories.

    Visuals:
The visuals are good, but nothing too special or amazing to brag about. Renders are slightly above average and are easy on the eyes. Some of the animations are great, there’s smooth fluidity and grace to the animations. These don’t just include sex scenes but some normal scenes as well.

The UI is clean and smooth. Maybe I just wished there was a bit more character or superhero flair in regard to the presentation of the game.

    Sound:
The sound design in this game is great! Fantastic music selection throughout the games. Intense music during fight scenes as if you were watching an episode of the “Boys”. Mellow ambience background music that immerses you in different environments. Such simple sound effects such as crafting and shooting lasers feel right, they add a zing and depth to the game. My only major complaint is that most of the sex scenes lack moaning and sex noises, found it a bit disappointing because of the effort of how much work was put into the other aspects of sound design.

As conclusion, Villain’s Legacy is an entertaining superhero (or supervillain) game with fun gameplay that rewards players with creative sexual content and plentiful of superheroes to defeat. I was disappointed in expecting more NTR content, as I’m an NTR fan but it is only in the beginning. So if you’re a hater of NTR, you can actually skip the whole thing but selecting to go away. Personally, for me, it just felt like it was a game with porn content rather than a porn game. Regardless it’s still a enjoyable game for any horny fans who wants a corrupting superhero game.

Wow. The H game in The Boys style universe. The intro is the most original and well written stuff I have ever seen in adult games.

Story that does not require skipping? Cool.

    Renders are good quality.

I have edited review after completing the game down from 5 to 4, reasons are simple. Too much grind, repetition, lack of variety and spice in scenes. The game starts with unexpected plot twists, but becomes more generic and dull as you keep going.

I feel before anything else, I must point out that the intro is by far the worst part of the game. The MC comes off as incel-ly, self-absorbed, envious loser. The whole setup with the "clearly-too-hot-for-the-MC" wife jumping on big black cock at first opportunity carries the same cringy vibes.

Honestly, I was pretty close to just closing the game during the intro, but decided to give the game a chance.

After the intro you get a pretty jarring jump from your supervillain origin directly into fully setup secret base with no idea without really being told what to do.

All in all, not a good start. Thankfully that's where the game starts to pick up. While I feel the money/ingredient system is entirely superfluous, it doesn't bother me - the "sandbox" is thankfully light: you have map with characters, click one and you see plot synopsis and possible requirements. If you meet the requirements, you get to progress the character's story.

The stories are really where the meat of the game is. The characters are varied and mostly interesting. Most of them have interesting stories, while a few (like the reporter girl) are pretty shallow, focusing more on the MC's revenge.

Despite the bad early impression, the MC actually ends up being pretty likeable and the scenes and plots are entertaining. Essentially you meet new supers (mostly heroines), come up with new devices to counter their powers and use your devices to beat and/or humiliate them to progress your goals. Some of these encounters end up into sex scenes, although they are still relatively few and far between.

The setting itself is pretty much a sexed up parody of 80s/90s superhero world, but with the twist that the heroes have been corrupted by their status and fame, being elevated above the law. They still preach and act the typical do-gooder role in public, but in private they are anything from deviants to murderers. The MC hates the status quo and wants to bring forth new, more equal world order of his own design and punish supers who have abused their powers and status.

All in all if you can suffer through the terrible intro the game is (mostly) surprisingly well-written and entertaining, while also having fantastic and actually unique art. No unmodified stock models you've seen in dozens of other games here from what I've seen.
