VN - Ren'Py - Violation Nation [Ep.9] [Wet Avocado Games]

It has good potential because the story and plot are quite well done, but there are some endemic weaknesses:
The adult scenes are mainly triggered when choosing paths of violence (which are labeled as corruption) and less frequently when adhering to the path of wisdom, which is a shame because it's a bit too black and white (a third choice could be offered). The graphics could be significantly improved, and the adult scenes lack pacing, length, and emotional depth. Finally, the former special forces hero's skill is poorly implemented, or rather, too often undermined, which detracts from the MC's charisma. It might seem like young people who have never served in the military, but when you have real-world experience, you quickly notice the weakness of the content in this area. Developers, please be more nuanced and subtle, and your AVN will be rewarded.

I really enjoyed this game because it blends romance, dark themes, graphic violence, and that spicy taboo-family-style content that a lot of 18+ VNs use to push the story in a more intense direction. What makes it even better is the freedom it gives you, like choosing whether to kill a character or spare them, and that kind of choice makes the whole experience feel way more personal and fun to replay.

The writing, the art, and the atmosphere are all well crafted, and I appreciate the effort the developer put into this world. I really hope the updates come out fast because this game has a lot of potential, and I’m excited to see where the story goes and what kind of crazy choices show up in the next versions.

Glad I found this one. Will be keeping it on my watchlist as it shows a lot of promise.

Im giving the game 4 stars. It may not deserve this at the moment but there were some scenes, not even sex related that I actually really enjoy.

The premise is really interesting. Its kind of like Battle Royale meets The Purge with all the depravity that comes with an Adult VN.

Im doing the violent path on my first playthrough so I dont know whether the choices just cut content or actually adds variability in the story and scenes.

Animations start off honestly quite bad. The first sex animation made me laugh it was so bad. They get better with time showing the skills of the developer getting better. For instance when Sophie masturbates on the bed was a significant improvement over everything else up to this point.

The thing Im actually really enjoying is the writing. There are moments it really sucks. Like when you meet that crazy woman who gives you the food when you fuck her.

But goddamn there are moments when it really hit me in the feels. Like the sweet moment between dad and daughter after they find the hidden house. The music in this scene was perfect. Sometimes the music is just annoying like in the city with the raiders same sweet melody the entire time even during the tense scenes.

The game has many lows but it also has some amazing highs. It gets better as you progress as well.

I wish the dev good fortune.

This game has ton of possibilities and the story is unique that one as a player truly shapes to its tastes, the 3d models are so hot and beautiful and I can't wait for what comes next because the seeds for many intriguing stories are already planted there

Like this game in the start.. but it getting worse every update.. A hunger games style survival porn game made believe that it would have something unique, but this entire game can be summarized by these events

1) Father daughter and random girl go to location
2) meet another random girl
3) fuck the random girl
4) Kill random road mobs
5) Daughter gets kidnapped
6) save daughter
7) Random pervert MC event

just shuffle these events in any order and you get a new scene of Violation nation.. Characters are as bland as stale bread.

A great start to a promising project, however the interactions between the characters definitely needs improvement. Also, adding more variations during sex scenes is necessary, as it feels like you aren't doing anything and are just watching.

Really a good game storyline, adeventure, dominace, every other scene is also beautifully filmed. Thanks for Game. I would love to see you know more groping and harassment in future. also add gangbang. make someone one family man cuck by fucking a girl.. etc. I am really excited for future releases of it. It's a Virtual Novel.

Good : The premise is good. The animation scenes are good.

Bad : Cannot change or customize the main character. The game has less content as of now. There is no flexibility in sex scenes, everything just happens and you just watch. The game is very rigid.

Not a AAA production by any means, but its a good game. Solid premise that doesnt try to do too much. Lot of player choice too. Not a ton of content so far (hour or so of content), but its worth playing.

Look forward to seeing this one continue

I can't really see anything to hate as the story is alright, along with the models and the scenes are so short that they aren't worth mentioning, especially with the low amount of them. Just such an average game.

Its a good start with a decent premise but I think this is on a knife edge. It's not original but still a decent example of the genre. The biggest let down is the daughter. Not only is she really annoying but why do we keep flipping to her point of view. This would be much better if she wasn't in it. It feels like she only in it for some future garbage incest storyline. Just get rid of her and the guy can go on a nice rampage, followed by a violent and bloody revenge on the guy who set him up. Just keep it simple without the daughter and lets have some fun. Hopefully its on hold to write the daughter out of the story and to focus on over the top violence like a terrible 80's action movie.

⠀ Apart from mediocre visuals and infantile writing, the game features poorly thought out binary choice system that is not only black and white, but also assumes that you're strictly following one of two distinct paths. For example, somewhere down the line you may choose to have sex with your companion, and the dialogue during intercourse suggest that you have already done this and that you're sadistic prick, even if this is their first sex and you've been roleplaying as a nice guy this entire time. Another egregious example is when you make decision whether you're fine or not with your daughter sleeping in her underwear, and later on MC will scold her for not wearing pants in the bed regardless of what you chose.
⠀ Speaking of writing, why are characters so nonchalant about their situation? You've been put in a MFing hunger games and you decide to try out pretty outfits in a clothing store? You'd rather sleep outside on a dirty ground because there was a corpse indoors? You'd give up valuable vital supplies for a quickie with a complete stranger? Main character was sent to remote murder island by his colleague because.......... he didn't like him??? Idk, maybe there is a big plot twist in plans akin to Oldboy, but for now it doesn't seem like it.
⠀ And lore is kinda nonsense. A UN-like organization is hosting an annual battle royale? Really? Not even a secret billionaire club or something? And for what? Social experiment? Prank? Entertainment? Why exactly two randoms from every country? How is that even legalized? World seems totally normal and intact, basically irl 21st century earth, there isn't an imminent apocalypse looming over society or anything like that. The suspension of disbelief just isn't there for me.

Character relations are decently fleshed out.
Love the premise as well, Battle royale setting with your enemy (Boss) in control of your surroundings.

Although its disheartening to see updates coming so slow.
Waiting impatiently for future updates.

The concept of the story is fine and all until the sex scene's happen.

Because everything up too the scenes being shown are "Choice Based Checks" then the scenes are a Kinetic novel let down, unless

its THE worst desicion include the daughter in the island she is just a copy paste whiny little girl from other games but in survival theme.....

The issue with this game is that the emotional aspect of the decisions isn't really felt by the character's reactions to what is happening.

And some of the decisions don't really flow because there is no real requirement prior to making a decision. As an example, if you use the teacher for gratification, then give her the choice to leave; she stays with the exact same dialogue as if you were trying to romance by being prince charming. It also gives you the romance flag I chose that path even if it doesn't really make sense or flow with how she is being used elsewhere.

It is also possible to make the daughter more violent, which should make them more useful in the future or a psychopath, but it never really works out that way. She still acts timid and has the same response when making the choice to kill regardless.

What I would have liked to have seen is for all the decisions prior to be baked into the decision to kill or not then have the father try to either sustain that path or move the character towards a different one.

In any case these are what I would have liked to see for it to be a five star game. It's still a four star game based on the renders and quality which is still well above average for a porn game. The other knock though is the sex scenes they are good but way to short it's impossible for this to be used as an actual porn game. It's more of a story with nudity and sex scences which is why the sort of emptiness of the decision making is disappointing

I loved!!! The progression seemed adequate to me, in the current version 0.0.5 there is enough content to see the quality that the game will have from now on. I will be excitedly waiting for the next updates.

It's a decent enough start but it kinda irks me that there are some narrative inconsistencies depending on the choices you make.

For instance there's a scene where you can choose to tell your daughter that you're cool with her sleeping pantless if that's what she's comfortable with, but regardless of what you choose the MC will still chew her out for not wearing pants later.

Also if you haven't previously had sex with Zarja but later decide to do so she'll ask you not to cum inside her again. Maybe I'm meant to be reading into this the idea that they've been boning off screen but since up to that point I'd been a perfect gentleman and never took advantage of her, well, I gotta assume this is an issue that should be rectified.

Those problems aside though it is as I said - a good start - and I'm keen to see this game improve over time.

A 42 year old "man" who apparently has the brain of a horny teenager. I get that there's an innate desire to always fuck in men, but there's something called self control which the MC does not have. All too often he leaves himself exposed to his girls getting captured that I almost find myself thinking this is going to be one of those terrible NTR VNs. To make it worse we're supposed to believe the MC had some kind military/survival skills.
