VN - Ren'Py - Violet Sunset [Pre Alpha] [AnnaSeries]

Surprisingly good. The writing might seem weird at the beginning but it grows on you by the end. The premise is very unique, at least in the AVN space.
Violet seems intriguing, would've liked to see more of her... maybe in the next update
If you like casual nudity and futa, you'll love this. Very rare combo around these parts...

Obviously, it's too early to say much about it (Pre Alpha) but it definitely has a lot of potential.

this game is beatifully written, has a deep lore, interesting story, the body models of characters are versatile and beatiful, you've got a lot of futa and female variations, even amazonian, which I especially adore, but where the heck are sex scenes? this game has like few hundred shots of teasing by pretty women and 1 shortest scene with cringest and most annoying k-pop anime girl twins. Please add sex scene with Petra, otherwise this game should have "no sexual content" tag. If you don't like playing hentai for the plot, this game will appear to you rather raw and hollow

The writing in this thing is just plain weird. Dialogues are nonsensical at best.
"Fantasy" tag seems to just be because a couple of characters have elf ears...while on a train which does not exactly scream fantasy to me.
Character images also look weird, like they have been done/polished by AI without the AI tag.

1. Nice looking models BUT
2. Being able to set the MC type i.e. Futa, non-futa is at least good. Doesn't apply to anyone else really save MC Friend...
3. Plot is semi unique and slightly interesting, but not very profound.

1. Models are nice, but the amount of "polish" or CG is a bit much for me, its just too damn smooth and clean...they also feel fake, like not part of the scene, superimposed almost.
2. Writing/dialogue is simply bad, the tone is wrong, the structure is upside down. The writer often mixes styles of speaking/writing...jarring to say the least.
3. Per above, the message that is being conveyed sounds often like it comes from several sources, the tone changes, the style, the wording, its like some fantasy writer breaks character (literally) and starts talking differently.
4. The MC also has a way of talking in a monologue with herself and sometimes you have several lines of dialogue before someone else gets a word in edge wise.
5. The way the plot and dialogue unfold is just jarring and clearly you need to not have any preconceived ideas or even try to relate to this "story" its makes fuck-all sense.
6. Music does not fit any of the setting. So thats simply bad.
7. Nice to see the seemingly useless font change option in the UI, but the UX is shot with the large dialogue box that has no opacity setting...
8. Regarding UX, the selection process for characters is not good, the player does not have a way to see who they picked, only remember, they don't know about the character they picked nor have option to deselect them, apart from roll back. This means no idea if you picked a futa character, normal one...none so player can screw themselves a bit.
9. Too short to even appreciate or rate anything else, pity.
10. More Futa characters than straight up females.
11. Animations are 2 renders going back and forth.
12. H-content is minimal, bland and pretty boring really...

OPINIONS, SUGGESTIONS & FINAL REMARKS:

NOTE: The following remarks are my personal opinions and thoughts, which may provide more context and could be useful to the developer. (Read them or don't)

• Writing needs a hell of a lot of work, its written as if by someone tripped out their mind (if there personality was split and each personality had a go at the writing)
• I don't really care for new games, pre-alpha, alpha, beta, new developers, I call it as I see it. This AVN has some good qualities and bad ones, many of the bad can be avoided with some effort.
• This is a fairly weird game, simply because of the way it presents itself, the tone it tries to set but fails to. You never know if you have to think of some paranormal, fantasy, metaphysical or other reality as the developer doesn't themselves know. They just puked it all out and said figure this out, but honestly I couldn't care it...jokes on them!
• This is what I meant when I said it makes no sense, the idea is simple, but the way its all put together, thats totally weird and upside down.

TLDR:

Nice looking models, but looks way to "fake" the writing seems eloquent but its really not, it tries to hard to provoke or instill mystery and intrigue but falls flat on its ass. This AVN also focuses more on FUTA content it seems as most of the LIs seem to be FUTA, which is actually pretty disappointing. Overall I am not impressed at all and think that the dev should seriously change a few things before going even Alpha let alone Beta version with this...
