Can someone do me a huge favor and check if this is loading properly? I'm trying to make a backup in case of disk failure. But this look is a "Frankenstein Monster" since I used the face of one look, the body of another, the hair of a third one and 2 modified skins from the donors. VAM file management is so confusing for me. and I don't have free space for another clean install of the game. (I already have 2 -.-)

If you do have all the required dependencies (and it took me quite some time to find them, because some of them are not hub-hosted), it seems to load correctly.

Thanks a lot. I didn't mean to give you too much trouble. But I wanted it to load easily without any other dependencies ^^

Btw what was missing? I thought I put hair, morphs and textures in the .var

A lot -- hair, textures, morphs basically. You should learn how to either use the integrated Package Manager to see what a package depends on, or how to check your package's meta.json or the actual saved scene for references to other packages.

In the saved scene you will find these references:

Meaning your look has direct dependencies to the following packages:

• Hunting-Succubus.Enhanced_Eyes.latest
• Roac.Winter_ponytails.latest
• AshAuryn.Pose_Tools.latest
• AshAuryn.Sexpressions.latest
• VAMJFD.FullMouthTexturePack.latest

Those packages are all Hub hosted as of today, so not a big deal -- and as long as they're still on the Hub (who knows if/when the will get removed for whatever reason) just open the Hub Browser and download missing dependencies, done.

But then you also got this:

Which is a package NOT hosted on the Hub, so you will definitely be missing these textures. And this package itself also has a lot of dependencies, that's why you will end up with a couple more non-hub-hosted dependencies.

It's not a crack, it's the official downloader for VaM. If you can't download it from OP, you will also find a Patreon link in the OP where you will find the original link to the updater. Download it through Patreon, place it in an empty directory, run it, and it'll download the current version of VaM.

To then use VaM, you still need a key -- check the Patreon for the various options.

Do you guys know how to make the hair styling permanent?
I load in the base scene, switch to the model I want to use. Equip the hair(s) I want to edit. I go into the hair editing part, fiddle around. Cut, brush, push, yadda yadda. I save the end result in a preset.

I load in another scene. Switch to my model that should have the edited hair. But the customized hair I spent a ton of time on doesn't want to load in, even when I specifically select the saved hair style preset. The hair I get is the unedited base version.

I remember, that this worked back in the day, but now it doesn't. Which is strange, because when I load in a customized clothing part (good example here is the fishnet cloths, which gets another color + text texture too when another style is selected), the customized version loads in without a problem every time. Only the hair has this style ignoring issue.

What is the solution here? Is there are hair style plugin that could help save/load a customized hair variant?


Edit: Okay, I've found the solution. When I favorite the style, I need to fav it while having "include style in store" option checked.

Is there a way to delete duplicate morphs and clothing items? I have a few items duplicated and I have no idea where they are located so I can get rid of them
