What's to say about this? Messy development, poor performance, dreadful UI and UX, and offers absolutely nothing out of the box for the user. It's a glorified poser software where you need to provide everything yourself, that includes models, maps, animations, sounds... And controls like complete garbage on a flat screen to boot.
With that said, yes there are some interesting scenes made by users, thing is these scenes are basically just 3D versions of what you'd find on those old flash games that were popular 10 years ago where all you'd do is select from a handful of "poses" and an animation would loop indefinitely. That's essentially all that this software is good for. Frankly, it wouldn't be so egregiously bad if 2/3 of the features weren't locked behind a Patreon subscription (fucking typical
), and if that wasn't enough you also have those greedy fucks that lock scenes and dependency files behind their own Patreon subscriptions. No better surprise than downloading a scene and discovering that for it to work you need a series of files some schmuck paywalled.
It's just a piss poor experience throughout, even if you do find a decent scene here and there. And frankly, I'm left wondering why even the creative types would want to waste their time with this. Blender exists for all your modelling and animating needs, no need to mess around with such a jank ass program just because it supports VR, being able to look around the scene hardly justifies the headache if you ask me. Maybe it's the potential payout from all the horny gooners with more money than braincells, who knows.
