Seeking Visually Different Games v2

Posted something similar to this many months ago, asking again now.

What I'm asking for as a reference is this alien sc-fi game that looks VERY different from the normal games I see every day that are just renpy or made from similar assets.
You played as this tentacle dude and would walk around this top-down view city and explore it and talk to other aliens.

Started with an A i think? Not sure. But I'm looking for a game like that, not the game but a game similar to that.

Not specifically sci-fi, but visually different. Looking for 2d ish game.
