I just feel like the game is too dark, it could use some funny moments.
It has a mix of everything: R11 is quite dark but ends in romance, R12/R13 is dark (Covers Kiba's backstory) but it has also its funny moments and ends up with fun (Rias/Asia scenes), and R14 will be the pool episode which is just fan service.
However, at it's core, it's still a dark universe and in some parts the game will be darker than the source when required as it won't always be 1:1 with the source.

i still await the day the oppai dragon song gets put as the main menu music (even if it's only for a month, like say during the march-april-ish update *wink wink*) and the next update in general.

Good idea, although it'll probably be just on 1st April as an easter egg

hmm battle system seems without bugs, (might need to replay from beginning now. is the earlier battles implemented in R12?) but i have some small suggestions.
make the Esc key or something a/another method of deselect and probably cancel casting.
the ability to take an action then move if the player decides to do things in that order, instead of move then action.

don't bother only the first 3 old battles are playable

A button called "Cancel Casting" should appear when you select a power, it doesn't appear in your game?

As for the action/move, that's done on purpose to avoid cat chasing (Although most enemies so far are quite fast, but Mira for instance will have 1 tile movement, at least on her first battle).

The old battles are slowly getting added, as Exalted said, there are only the first three ones so far.
On R13, I focused on replacing other placeholders instead... It bothered me too much how Ddraig's CG looked so dumb, so I redid it and also used the same asset to make his avatar as well.

When it comes to Mira, I already replaced her Avatar a few releases ago so I can reuse that to make her battle assets as well,
I can also reuse Saji's logic (also pawn) for her, so the only thing left to do is make her naked sprite when the protagonist uses Dress Break on her (which would happen on her second battle).

nah the button appears, i just am greedy and want another option. and imo the Esc key would be ideal.

as for cat chasing... aww. personally i would think it'd add a layer of strategy until issei gets his dragon shot ranged attack unlocked. and even after a small bit. but i guess it might piss off too many noobs with the AI doing hit and run tactics against them 'too soon' in the game. >_>

only 3 new retro battles for now got it. i'll wait on a replay then, thanks for the answer! so by r14 or 15 all the early game battles will be done? or will you possibly (kinda don't think you will but wanna check anyways) update the public version of r13 with the missing battles when you release it?
