VN - Ren'Py - Vulgar Reverie [v0.16 P1] [Saxonado Studios]

Holy fucking hell.

If i could rate this 6 out of 5 i would.
-Characters are well written
-Art is fantastic (IMO)
-The mood is perfect, not too fast, not too slow.
-Even the ambience is good.
-The events and story flow is good as well.

I am biased, as i kinda have the same issue as the MC. Its not a cuck thing, but more of a Swinger or Stag thing (well, i have only done the blue route so far, gonna do green after this review, but i had to write this asap).
The wholesome love story, with a naughty fantasy is great. I can only hope it will continue to follow that script, rather than break characters or start som corruption stuff.

I am going to look forward to what will come.

For the Dev: (if you read these), if you want some help to guide the story or get ideas, send me a PM. I've helped a few devs in the past, and i would gladly (pro bono ofc) help you out too, if you feel or fear you might get stuck in a writers block or similar such.

What can I say, this is the first time I play a game that is so good that I feel the need to make a Review (never happened before).

Ofc, you have to be into the NTS genre, otherwise this is just not for you.

The writing, so far, is absolutely amazing (I'm talking about the version 0.02 which is not out for everyone yet, I am a supporter on patreon).
It doesn't feel forced like the other NTR/NTS games, nothing is happening too quickly and it actually feels very natural. Not much of the story is out yet, so I will stop here and just say that for now this is a 10/10.

Regarding the art... I don't even know where to start. Amelia is super sexy, her proportions, the details, literally everything about her is perfect. The artist absolutely knows what he's doing. 10/10

I've also had the pleasure to message the developer and he's super nice, a really great person and I'm so glad these guys are succeeding in making their own game and that it is this good.

This is absolutely outstanding so far! Great writing, great art (especially how emotive the characters are), good music for the tone (rarer than I would expect), and what seems like a great setup for everything else. Can't wait to see more of this.

Game is quite good. It's not at your face like so many NTR games. I like these sort of teasing games that don't get too dark.

The art looks promising. I'm looking forward to try the next version. Might even consider subscribing to the Patreon if the dev keeps his consistency.

Im not 100% into the NTR but the artwork and the writing is smut godtier. Special mention to the eye play from Amelia and her facial expressions that make her sexier.

Well, for being the first release, it's more than great, I especially liked the dialogues and part of the development of the plot, Amelia now finds out about the MC's taste and starts making fun of it but she does it slowly and great. I also really liked the visual art how sexy Amelia looks and a bit more mocking towards the MC.

The art of the game is hot, the writing is wholesome and you can have influence on the dialogue. I like this game and def recommend it for now.

There are colored choices for you too choose from, so you can basically decide what kind of content you wish to see, which is really nice. I hope that will allow vanilla and ntr ppl to find a compromise like that.

The dialogues are written well so far. Im always a fan of corruption and dirty talk, but they are a real wholesome couple, so thats nice.

I have always been a NTR enjoyer, but I still feel uncomfortable from seeing the husbands suffering. But having him just imagine all those scenes and not actually happening is really cool. Normally imaginations and dreams are boring because they dont actually contribute to the story, but the story telling is fitting so that the imaginations and worries implying that those bad events are fitting logically/naturally.

As I have said before the art is done really well and looks amazing, that I can only recommend it for now.

Fantastic Demo of a game that looks like it can be one of the best on the NTS tag. First of all its clear this is not a "over the night" project, menus are smoth, music is nice, the writing is good and ofc, the art is beautiful specially on Amelia. And one of the best things, easy to play the path u preff and they ad the "what if" power vacum style of some non canon scenarios that are great. Wonder if some of those would turn up to be real in the future anyway, great impresion by this one, there are not too many high quality only NTS games around (that dont include harem) so 5/5 for me

Quite a nice start, the art is nice, the characters are interesting and the given backstory that's expandable on in the future. The wife also seems to have a great personality for a swinging based game, only thing I'm scared of is that these type of games get abandoned in a month or two, which I can only hope doesn't happen for this one too, anyways, a great start for a demo and good luck to the Dev.

Writing this only as Ver 0.01 so take that into consideration, but so far pretty solid. Wife is very playful, and loves to tease. MC isn't a total bitch, and has a morale compass still. You got a small mystery setup. Art is solid. Overall pretty good for a small demo/first release.

Just one concern really:

1) This release was quite short, and we already got the netorase confession. Mind you I'm not saying that's bad, just that this kinda sets the pace for the story. Which I wouldn't be worried about if there wasn't the mystery part added into the story. I just see that being a headache in the future, but I'll just put my faith in the author for now, best of luck saxo <3.

I’m writing this review as of the first release where there isn’t a lot of content yet but what’s there right now is so good. It is extremely polished and has great artwork and sprites. You can feel how much effort has gone into it with features such as the sprites blinking and moving their mouths. I also think the dialogue flows really well and the dirty talk and teasing from the heroine is amazing. I can only imagine how good the actual netorase scenes will be! (Also the dev has reiterated this will only be a netorase game with no canonical NTR scenes).

I decided to support this game on Patreon when I saw it and haven’t been disappointed so far at all. The dev has been very interactive and seems to have a great plan for the game. I hope that more people support it because they’ve said they’ll include animation for scenes once they have the budget for it. I’m excited to see where the game goes from here and I hope it keeps up the quality this first release shows!
