I think Eduran touched well on the problem here. The husband being the submissive one in these NTS plays can lead to a slippery slope scenario where if she doesn't rein him in, he can push it too far and end up degrading their relationship. Kinda confused on some comments made. DEV has clarified pure NTS. You choose how the MC will be in the beginning. She will humiliate you just enough to arouse you. She loves her husband guaranteed she will not leave him. The NTR moments were in his mind. The beginning club scene tells you exactly who the MC is. Take her to the bathroom you are dominant, she takes you you are sub. DEV made it clear no real NTR just NTS. Rare you really don't have to guess what type of NTR game you are playing. I mean Saxo is kinda going for a real style. What difference in character do you want? A clown, priest and magician? Like this story is taking quite a real and natural route, which is good. I'm not really into the more eastern style of having a shota, fat dude and stinky hobo in every NTR/NTS. There are definitely more artists out there who go for a less realistic narrative if that's what you're seeking. That's not to say that we won't see a variation going forward but the story is just now beginning to gain some real movement into what it will eventually become.

But, for the last couple of updates, the portrayal of MC has been falling more to the submissive side (which would've been fine if we were warned and it wasn't stated on patreon that we get to choose how MC acts, dom or sub). And even more so, in this update the author clearly showcases the insecurities and uncertainty of the MC, which he doesn't tell his wife about, but he totally shows the signs that this time he is not so confident and not so sure about this deal which she ignored or took that in a way, if the situation pleases his dick and herself then it doesn't matter if it hurts him in the process.

Some people try to say that those who don't really enjoy things going this way are just self-inserting or some shit, but the whole deal is about the author making the main dude this way, and the lack of proper communication between MC and FMC. They weren't standing on the same ground in this update. If the MC was like the one in "My new girlfriend" where he 100% enjoys his partner being a total slut, doesn't have these doubts and tell what he feels to his gf, then players probaly wouldn't have a problem with it either. Yet here the situation is quite different, isn't it?

The difference between the dom and sub routes could be established by making Amelia MC's slutty loving wife who fulfills his fantasies in "dom route" and likewise making MC an obedient cuck to Amelia who loves humiliation in "sub route". The importance is who is "holding the leash", so to say. There's no need for branching routes or different scenes, just difference in text would make up for it.
