After all that noise above I can only say that in my humble opinion there is one core of the game that has to stay intact. And that is, of course, the NTS nature. If the MC does something with the mom, that won't change anything. If both the MC and the LI agree on that, it has no impact on the NTS content.

The whole NTS thing is about the LI doing "her thing" with other man, and giving the MC the impression he has the chance of loosing her by that, because he gets a kick out of that. In reality both know it's all a play, and there is absolutely no risk that the MC will loose his LI.

Of course there are people here that like to see that NTS going into NTR territory, but that's not going to happen. Those people always hang around in NTS VN threads to "stir up the hive". Lucky enough for them there are countless NTR VN's on this site (several a day).

Anyway - As said, If something "nice" happens with the mom, it will not change anything in the core NTS tention between the MC and the LI. It's nothing more than some nice side content and maybe some funny stuff. The core of the VN, however, will not be changed by that. As said - I have no problems with that.

I disagree with this assessment that oyakodon does not impact NTS. If you boil NTS down to its core components, it's about a monogamous couple - meaning they are both happily together and don't feel any desire to pursue a second concurrent relationship or otherwise get affection from someone else (polyamory) - in which one of the two has a fetish for the other having sex with someone else. They come to a trust-based agreement where the other (hereby the wife, just for convenience) will sleep with someone else in order to fulfill the husband's fetish. In some twisted way, they are still fulfilling their monogamous dynamic, with her using sex with other men as a tool to fulfill her husband sexually. The monogamy is central to the whole dynamic.

Him sleeping with someone else would in my opinion break that, since she has no such reciprocal fetish, and he would no longer feel monogamously toward the relationship. The whole game has been about satisfying his kink. Now if he can just go to some other woman to get his sexual satisfaction, then why would the NTS matter? If while she's out fucking a guy for him he can be out fucking some other woman, isn't it kind of pointless?

That sucks. Then playing the older version is your only choice. Though it has enough content I have only played till v0.2 within a week.

Despite the challenges of having an animator, I think it's necessary to add *some* movement if they're continuing the hand-drawn route and want to remain a top-tier game. Since it came out, the smut industry has "leveled up" to the point where a handful of still drawings, no matter how well done they are, can keep a game from hitting the highest level in terms of payoff scenes.

If the cost of full animation is too steep, I think a loop of 2 or 3 frames for the sex scenes would go a long way toward at least lining up with the sound effects.

I don't think animations matter all that much in this phase of development. I would much prefer they focus on completing the story then go back and add animations after it's complete
