Every time a new update comes out all my saves are broken. why?. i keep having to restart the game

Not seeing that issue. What error are you getting? Where you perhaps in the middle of a scene?

Walkthrough Mod (v0.13.0.1)​

Sorry for the long wait. Here's the first version of the mod.
I had to go through all 70k+ lines and change the mod because of dialogue changes made by the dev (Which by itself took 10 hours).
I made some changes to the Beach scene to add more scenes when selecting the modded "Choose all 3" option.

If you have problems with the mod let me know and link the traceback.txt so I can see if I can fix it in any way.
Whether or not the previous mod save works depends entirely on the instance the save was made. A lot of changes have been made that may make previous saves unusable.

HOW TO:

Every time a new update comes out all my saves are broken. why?. i keep having to restart the game

Did you use a mod? Saving during option selection may cause this, since mods change the text that appears and makes what's in the save incompatible with the text that is actually there.
But I noticed changes in 0.13.5 where some of my saves broke even though the text is the same. Not sure what the dev changed to cause this.

It's the "can't find a place to stop rolling back" error. Some saves break, some work. Dunno why.

Yes. I created a new reply with the update but I also changed the original comment with the update, since it would already have the redirect from the post

That's probably a scene like the beach stuff that's always breaks if you save in a choice after an update. Saving on of just before the end credits of that episode usually work.

You could try to disable rollback in options to see if you can load the game... then turn it on later. Maybe that works.

Short answer: You likely keep getting this problem because you keep making saves with the walkthrough mod, and then trying to load them with the new version before the walkthrough mod comes out for it.

There's a little bit of NTS here, altough not in this update but dev seems to like it enough to put it. Maybe sometime Tomoe (the mom) will go all the way with someone else
