Does this version have anything different? Because I was already playing the "Battle Princess Lacia and the Fallen Fortress" version and I want to know if this one added more content and stuff and if I should drop the other one and download this one instead. Actually fun gameplay on this one, which I really appreciate.

Damn Hobgoblin got HANDS, I'm getting REKT on Gamer Mode (3rd Difficulty/ Normal Mode equivalent). (Granted I did not prepare much healing and status immunity)

Finally beat it after 5-10 deaths. And it was a CLOSE Fight (310 hp left, I only have 2 herb healing from the start since I did not anticipate the difficulty lol). Here I was thinking of increasing the difficulty since shitter mobs die so easily lol.

Does anyone know of any other Wolf RPG Engine Save Editor? I tried and it said that the format is not supported

So I've been testing "Inheriting abilities": is there a CAP for the amount of inherited abilities you can have? Since for all weapons they usually have multiple abilities that can be inherited, and inheriting one skill (turning it into a passive) will destroy the weapon. So for my test I've maxed (lvl 5) estoc twice, tried if I can inherit the same ability, and I was able to do so (screenshot for proof).

So conclusions = one you level 5 a weapon and inherit a skill from it, it gets destroyed. You can get the same weapon again (either buyable weapons, or drop rate weapons (not sure if there are droppable) or possibly NG+) but it's level resets to 0. You can inherit the same ability (originally I was planning on getting "all skills from weapons") that you've already inherited (IDK if that stacks). IDK also if there is a cap for how many inherited abilities you can have.

Edit: Tried testing my damage with the same "passive"/inherited ability of 5% damage. It seems to have "no effect" if both are active, the game treats as if only one 5% bonus is active even when both are active.

Edit 2: It seems inherited abilities function the same way enhancement orbs works. Only the HIGHEST level of the same abilities WORKS. For example you have DMG dealt +5% and +3% (both inherited from Estocs) only the 5% would apply and the 3% gets ignored (so for minmaxxers it's not worth releveling the same weapon for the same ability/type). IDK for other types of same type of passives and how they stack but for damage dealt that is how it works.

Love the gameplay so far, the art is not great imo

Does anyone have any tips for the Hobgoblin or bosses in general? I'm playing on default/gamer difficulty.

From the inherited ability tutorial:
Same as Equipment Abilities, similar Inherited Abilities do not stack and only the most powerful one is applied

Don't know about a cap but I suspect the DMG Dealt+ you have do not stack

Yeah SHOULD HAVE READ THE MANUAL lol 1748173345330.png
but at least I've personally tested that it works that way haha.

A tip for bosses/ hobgoblin is: Have at least 10 healing herbs (so it can increase your Theoretical HP for the fight). Also HIT and run tactics, dash attack him and run, parry if you can. The BLIND sucks if you don't have the blind immunity accessory (I did not have it when I fought him lol). Always have your clothes max upgraded defense wise/durability wise. utilize comboes when he gives you openings. It was after I beat him that I've REALIZED THAT I GOT MORE THAN 2 SKILLS lol (you need to set the active skills on the menu). Snipe him with long range gun/pistol when he charges/ready his counter big move.

BREAKTHROUGH
It seems that if you're using DS4 to play using a controller the game's audio gets sent through the controller's headphone jack for some fucking reason (?) even though the rest of the audio in your pc isn't (??). Anyways, opening up the game and then opening up DS4 seems to fix it for me... idk if the other people that had trouble with the audio are also trying to play through DS4 buuuuuut at least it's a potential fix
That's a pretty common ds4 thing, just open your audio settings and change the input/output back to what it was before. IIRC if you use ds4windows it shouldn't do that anymore

The old version is translated by chatgpt. This is translated by professional translators that can see context beyond a few lines.

Depends. These latest AI tools are consistent with their inconsistencies, meanwhile the translation of a few official translation groups depends heavily on which translator gets assigned to it (see Blazing Aries, same translation group).

Is there a way to re-fight a boss/some mechanic to unlock its h-scene in the gallery? Or must i unlock it with another save file

Here is the fix to make the steam version work with Japanese save.

Note that this will make steam version save or any other version save not working anymore.

How to apply: You need to extract the "Fix.zip" to game folder and delete or backup "BasicData.wolf" from "Data" folder

I have also attached Japanese version full save. Note that this save will only work after applying the fix.

For AI version patch refer to this post

This game has alot of pointless friction that just wastes your time. It's good otherwise probably was mentored by ggg.
