iv used it a lot no virus yet but they have a habit of not just giving the game itself and having you use a installer needing to use a mounting tool(at least with the VN's).
I'm sure there's a reason for that but still annoying to do a extra step.
Also some of the games are locked behind a subscription (witch is potentially illegal to do considering it isn't there games)
Edit: some of the games do have false positives it's mostly the cracks that causes that.
