Ways to install games without clogging up system files?

Recently got a new computer. I want to install porn games on it, naturally, but one problem my last PC was facing was that AppData (among other system folders) was being clogged up with a bunch of folders for these porn games, and they also existed as registry entries so they'd sometimes show up in lists of programs across my computer (even after deleting their install folders). I don't want my cool new computer to get bloated like that, so what are some ways I can avoid that?

Solutions I've seen online so far:
* Installing a VM (e.g Hyper-V) to isolate the games into; this seems like it'd work with some setup but I also hear that it might cause some performance problems on my "normal" PC
* Windows Sandbox seems to be a similar option to a VM, with easier setup, but since it's designed to be disposable any save data would be lost upon closing the sandbox.

Ideally I basically want some kind of solution that says "if this game is installed in X folder, then instead of installing files in the normal windows directory, install in this other directory instead".

I'm not grumpy, I'm just coded that way.
