I think with all the scams and non-serious devs creating a 0.1 version of the game before disappearing , and all the diseases and depressions we saw in the recent months we should make a list of trustworthy devs , so anyone who wanna invest some bucks on patreon can see if the dev he is gonna invest on is reliable or not , and this dev will be able to add a F95 approved sticker in his patreon page.
What do you think about it ?
Not going to work.
Because every person has a own opinion about who is trustworthy and who is not.
For some it might be someone who doesn't produce a update every month, and others are ok with 2 updates a year.
For some it might be someone who cancels every game after 2 updates, but the next one might be confident in a new project.
Also the fact that a creator can just make a new account and start over,
So that way a "sticker" has 0% use.
Also....
Why should a Developer care what F95 think about his game...Don't get me wrong, this is a huge website.
But 99.5% of the people haven't payed a penny in their lives and are only here to grab free things and complain.
I understand your idea, and to some extent i agree with it.
Would like nothing more then see a couple developers banned on this website or even the entire internet...But i know that a lot of people love those developers due to recent communications so it goes back to personal opinions
But i think in the end it's not only impossible and untrustworthy....But from a developers standpoint also pointless; )
