What 3D program/engine is used in this comic panel?

Good question.
- Seems this is a rendered / 'arranged' image, so no 'game engine' used. The usual suspects for rendering are e.g. DAZ 3D, 3DS Max, Blender and such software.
- One can also use rooms / environment (pre-rendered) and fit in characters, you can do this in a graphics editing program (because in both cases it is graphics already). But to check this you may need to post more than one screen. Think of Photoshop, GIMP etc..
- Maybe there is a special comic creation program to include pics in panels and add the speech bubbles. I don't know of some but am sure they may exist. Would work more like desktop publishing programs, not the standard word processors.

If you can find out the artist (homepage, blog a.o.?) maybe there is a hint on what software is used for this work? :)

Looks to be made from scratch. By that i mean without the use of premade models. So i may be difficult to know what software made them.
