So yesterday I found myself watching the OTK games expo, and looking at some of the indie games showcased there, I was thinking to myself: Man, I wish they made porn games like these.
In a sea full of stale Renpy games, or RPGM Female protagonist getting corrupted I find myself craving something different, with great style, artwork, creativity. Games like Space Rescue: Code Pink, Subsverse, What a Legend, Innocent Witches, Behind the Dune, Aurelia, Faulty Apprentice, Chloe 18 Fake Family (I'll get back to that), Dandy Boy Adventures, Mist, Games by NLT are quite nice too and a bunch more.
But yeah, looking at the OTK Showcase, games like Felbound, Aethermancer or Neo Junk City had me like: I wish we had porn games like that, with actual gameplay and depth. (And to a certain extend we do, I recall games like Scarlet Maiden, or a more recent one called Butt Knight. Maybe Cloud Meadows (Idk I haven't really played that one)
That led me to this question: What adult games are you guys looking forward to?
I'll start:
- Dandy Boy Adventures (This is my most anticipated one, but will probably take at least another 2 years lol. Oni is currently working on another project for funds before returning to it)
- Planet Lust (The game Oni is working on to fund DBA, we currently have a demo and from what I've seen it looks promising. It look like it'll be some Stardew Valley type thing in space? Eitherway, whatever it is I'll be there for it and I can't wait. I think I remember seeing something about a summer release this year, but perhaps I'm wrong. Hopefully we get it by the end of the year at least.
- Chloe 18 Fake Family Update (I know it's just an ''update'' not a new game, but from what I've seen on GDS' patreon, it looks huge and really promising. Should be out soon too, hopefully?)
- The Hardest Interview 2: Lately I've been playing some FMV porn games and The Hardest Interview was refreshing and great. This is the sequel. It's already out but... It's in chinese and I can't seem to purchase from Masobu, so I guess I'll just wait for a TL.
That's about everything that's on my radar except some steam wishlists that seem like they might be abandoned. Lemme check and list some of them: LewdQuest, The Shimmering Horizon and Cursed Blacksmith (Ok this seems like one of those female protag corruption rpgm games at first glance, idk why it's on my wishlist. Actually maybe the gameplay will be interesting. Roguelike/souls-like, crafting), Parallel Olympus (This seems hella abandonned lol.) Jump Warrior (Same here, looks abandonned, seemed a bit generic but somewhat interesting) Zoria and the Cursed Land, and last (and probably least lol) Sex & Coffee (It's on my wishlist but yeah, just double checked who the Dev was and they general publish some slop. It looked somewhat promising but I lost a bit of my hope/hype now lol
