What brings more money: 2D illustrations and manga or 3D animations?

So I wonder, what brings more money to their creators on average: 2D NSFW illustrations and manga or 3D NSFW animations? Because from my personal impression, 2D works are more popular on sites like Pixiv and Twitter (or I maybe mistaken). But there is kinda a lot of people who do 2D art and less creators in the 3D field. Also it's easier to spot highly paid 3D animators cuz they usually live off Patreon and 2D artists mostly make money on comms or selling their complete works
