VN - Ren'Py - What Could Go Wrong? [Ep.2 P3] [WsZgamez]

Another game where the shit tier writing requires our capable protagonist to get bested by a female counterpart just to prove she's tough or whatever OR the forced hitting on one of the LIs just because they needed to force a possible relationship. Three choices in dialogue that show no clear idea in what you are going to actually say. Kaitlin is a piece of work who thinks being a shit bag is fun and you get punished for not thinking shes great, Amanda is a cheating mess, that decided cheating was a better alternative to divorce until after the main story finally gets going, and Faye is a trainwreck. Usially you write one of the sisters to not be a whore so it balances out....not true for Faye and her sister though. Sure they are attractive, but the only redeeming factor is how hard they throw themselves at the MC with no provocation. Don't worry, to balance that out they make the MC a tool that is weirdly talented, but a tool none the less.

Look I think the story is interesting, but you still aren't explaing anything about whats going on really. Three years deep and we are still waiting on this story to blossom. Three stars for effort. but you need to get the story moving or at least getting some plot threads going.

until chapter 3 dev had a good little story about some normal and not wimpy or retarded mc banging milfs and almost ruining his life for thinking with his dick. now the story is a mess, there are 3 routes now and the pace of the story got all fucked up.
the 1 star is for the renders

The first like third of it was enjoyable, but eventually you realise how little your opinion really matters in a game that apparently prides itself on it's paths. When they talk about "maximizing points", they mean it. If you want an enjoyable outcome, you have to forgo actually creating some form of character, and picking whatever will make that individual character happy.

The biggest example of this is when a girl fails to steal your wallet, gets pissed and so breaks into your home, and then gets pissed that you overpowered her, and suddenly the game claims YOU are as much of an asshole as HER because you embarrassed her. Your employer doesn't chew her out for committing LITERAL CRIMES, the most she gets is a tut tut and then your MC gets treated like a dick if he doesn't accept her apology. There's no realistic situation where that would be AT ALL acceptable by any reputable establishment. Hell, even a disreputable one would call her an idiot for letting her temper just drag her around. But not this stupid ass story. You have to be the doormat of every woman in order to gain their affection. That is what the writer thinks is actually viable.

The rest of the story after the initial cheating storyline is actually quite boring. Nothing about what happens or the interactions between characters interested me, and I just had to give up. The models looking good and the scenes decent is all well and good, but that doesn't excuse eliciting total boredom in a PORN GAME!?

This game has a lot of potential and there are a lot of things I really like. The story is pretty unique to these types of VNs so that's a plus right away, but there are some issues with it that kind of drag it down a bit. Regardless, the dev seems talented so hopefully things will get better as the releases progress.

One of my challenges with this game are the renders. It seems like lighting the scenes is an after thought. The lighting makes the renders seem almost lifeless. The staging and pacing of the renders are okay but the lighting... it seems like it is all ghost lighting or even just the DAZ camera lights. Not sure but it pulls me out of the story and that's unfortunate.

The other issue I have is with the MC. While there are a lot of things to like, some of the choices are disappointing. For example, he can decline sleeping with Amanda because she's married, but then later, it doesn't seem to matter and he ends up sleeping with her. I get that it's an important part of the story and not sleeping with Amanda would change the entire dynamic of the story, but then don't give the player the option. Just let it happen. Make it a prologue and leave the choices for later in the story.

Also, you can chose to try and continue to date Amanda, but the MC is still a total horndog.... which is fine, but then why give him a choice?

Plus, and this is more of a personal thing, there is way too much drinking. As the son of an alcoholic, I hate seeing the booze be just a prop in the story that does not have any consequences. It make it seem like drinking 9 or 10 beers a night is just a normal thing to do.... because it's not... and then he seems perfectly fine after drinking all of that.

On the plus side, the story is pretty good and the characters are all fleshed out. The women are all different and unique and I am really looking forward to seeing how the story progresses. For right now, however, I can't give it more than 3 stars.

Good looking but choices don't seem to matter, you have no influence over the story (such as it is) , LI routes or MC's thinking.

Despite the Dev's notes saying otherwise, this is a Kinetic Novel in disguise & unfortunately the story and characters aren't interesting enough to make up for the lack of choice. The story itself while different is boring & apart from maybe one the characters introduced are quite unlikable (MC included).

This could be a Two Stars to be honest but the lie about choice annoyed me enough to drop in to one based on how I was feeling while playing.

[Ep. 1 Part 2]

This is truly a rare find. It's very well written all around.

At first, the game kinda lulls you into thinking it's a rather straightforward porn VN that we've seen countless times. However, the plot takes an interesting turn after a rather typical porn game scenario revolving around sleeping with a married woman. It sort of feels like a screen play how the plot is structured.

The characters are well written. The English is fine. The characterizations are on point. The characters have depth. And they behave and react quite realistically to your choices. Boy, are there a lot of choices, and the game does an impeccable job in responding to these choices.

It's coded in a rather non-standard way for a renpy game which enables the dev to track basically every choice you make, big or small, and these choices are referenced extremely frequently to give you variations in flavor text, relationship progression, MC's disposition, and routes.

Perhaps a complaint could be that it can be a bit too responsive in that you might not always be aware of the implications of the myriad of choices and certain outcomes are tricky to achieve. That said, for the most part, the characters will react in a grounded manner that stays true to their personality, your character's past actions, and their current relationship dynamic with the MC.

There are a plethora of DAZ VNs that are your basic sex games or dating sims, but actually well written stories that remain grounded in realism while still managing to be intriguing are quite a bit rarer. Not saying the game is flawless, but it gets 5 stars for being "excellent."

very beautiful story line and has very intense and deep scenes , love all the character works the animation is good and could be better if the creator decides to go full on, im in love with the game and the story , looking forward to see more updates in the future soon and I'm sure this game is gonna make it to its highest...... thanks to creator for giving a wonderful game to us

While renders are decent models are rather standard, e.g. Amanda is Steph from a popular game so in general it's of average or slightly above average quality. Sex scenes aren't too varied and there aren't many of them so that's a negative. But the worst thing about this game is that for some reason dev has decided to disable skip function which is extremely stupid and annoying. If the story is good (here it isn't, it's your usual porn game level of writing) players wouldn't want to skip it so it only shows that dev himself isn't confident that his game will engage players and is using such cheap tactics. Being made to choose a name instead of having the option to go with a default one is also a strike in my book.

All in all I found this game way too annoying and tedious to finish and with no skip function it just makes it terrible to me. But giving it 1 star would be maybe too much so I'm giving 2 instead and I will edit my review and rating if the dev will decide to add such basic function.

- Gameplay is tedious
- There are barely any choices here (and always binary choices, nothing game changing unless you consider a choice to skip lewd content good)
- There is no skip function
- Story is average at best
- Not many sex scenes and with little variety

Theres not too much to say about this as its only Ep 0 even tho it has quite a lot of content for this beeing just Ep 0. Lets talk about the obvious, renders are very nice, women look gorgeous so overall it has a nice look to it. The sex scenes arent animated but still enjoyable. The story seems intriguing and im very interested to see where this is going. There is some gangster/mob stuff foreshadowing which is mostly pretty interesting to play. We will have to wait and see how the relationships are handled and how much imoact the choices you make will have but so far i like the characters, their personalities and i think its quite well written. I like espacially the encounters with the friends of the MC, thats a nicely done atmosphere with the fooling around insulting each other for jokes and all that you just have to be careful not to reduce their relationships to only that.
Overall its fun to play and im excited to see more.

Another new VN with some good potential. Enjoyed the first arc with the Amanda. Seems like a unique model for the wife too, found her hot as well as her friend Paula who appeared fairly fresh as well--atm doesn't look like we'll have too much to do with her but would be nice to have a 3some possibly with her and Amanda.

MC can be a little clueless at times but not the worst, though he doesn't appear to know how to use a phone to call people and let them know he'll be late, etc. Also a few errors in Sprite/name attribution during conversations so had to backtrack a couple times to make sure of who was speaking. Overall recommend, especially if enjoy taking someone's hot wife.

Excellent game with a good number of divergent paths based on your choices. C&C is good, woman are hot, and the MC can be dominant or submissive. Sex scenes are also great and good render quality. I hope the game maintains this quality of C&C in the future.

I don't know what I was expecting going in, but I was very surprised by how good this VN is. It is still in the intro phase, so it might change in the future, but right now, its great. I'm a massive fan of the cheating spouse category, this VN executes on it very well.
There are 2 primary paths and both are very good. The lead characters are a little rushed but they seem interesting. The visuals are great and the sex is not bad. Overall a very good experience so far. Looking forward to future releases.

Edit: The story moves past the cheating spouse thing into new territory and I love it so far. I'm a little worried with how quick it's moving, but overall, it's great.

Renders are good and the story is only starting so its hard to tell. When we are seeing Amanda car and in the bar with Diane and Amanda the dialogue appears black and thats need to be fixed and when we are at the sofa with Amanda in the bar and she says to call a cab instead appearing her name it appears ours, those 2 are bugs that needs to be fixed,hope the game has choices that affect the story and the relations with the girls, hope there is more choices to choose (instead of 2 to have 3), hope that the girls arent all slutty. The game has potential but the dev needs to do the story he wants and not get lost with it and make the choices to impact the story and with the girls.
