What do japanese devs use to make ai generated art in their rpgmaker games?

For example,

I'd like to know what do they use and how do they create that kind of art for their games.

Also, is the software free or do I need to pay for it?

Asking because I see that these ai generated games seem to be making money so I was thinking of trying to make a quick buck.

it's written at the end of the summary
※この作品はNovel ai diffusionで出力された絵を元に加筆・修正をして制作しております。
※本製品はRPGツクールMZを使用しております
it's Novel ai diffusion, but the image generation feature is paid.

ah okay
so I would just have to pay a certain amount to be able to use the program right? Nothing too complicated I presume

If you're going into this with the intention of making a buck, you're shooting yourself in both feet. First, few amateurs really make a reasonable amount of money making games regardless of the art style/source. Second, creating good AI art is not easy.

But if you just want to tinker around with AI art and get a feel for it, there are free options. I used to install the . It requires some technical expertise (or at least serious patience and attention to detail) to install and set up though. Then a lot of research and trial-and-error to create decent output. And at the end of the day being able to create really good output is an art in itself IMO. I lost interest before I got any good, but I may revisit it someday.

Maybe other free alternatives are easier to get started with, and maybe the paid options make it easier to create good output. There are some threads around here about the webui and AI art in general, but Rentry articles (such as ), discord and reddit are better resources.

Oh I'm not planning on making a living out of this, I already have a part time job and go to uni, however I keep seeing these kind of games pop up on Dlsite. They are all made in rpgmaker (not difficult to learn) and mostly have 15-20 CG scenes, the hardest part would probably be writing in japanese. They're priced around 2-4$ and often have 50+ sales, thats around 100$ profit (Dlsite has a 50% "service fee" ) which is a nice amount of money for really not that much work. I'd have to work 3 day 8 hour shifts for a 100 bucks.

Thank you for your concern and for sharing your resources. I realize it isn't easy, but it's certainly easier than learning how to draw

They probably using Stable Diffusion because there is a crack version of it. Using RPGMaker to make a very simple game. However they will hire voice actor to make the game at least not that cheap. And add a X-ray pic for the sex (because AI can't make pics of continuous sex process).
This is a example:

This is a example of superb AI art. But still many problems in it.

Thank you for your explanation
Do you know where I could get the cracked version of Stable Diffusion?

I was thinking of using some generic hentai moaning stock sounds or something similar.

Also, how do they create art with the same character? I noticed that there's a portrait of the character and the same one was used in the cg scene. I assume there's an option for it in the program?

You are underestimating the amount of work to create screenshots for marketing, writing copy for description and filling out the form for it to be made available for sale, on top of writing the dialogue in the game and the coding, and then the AI prompts and image editing for continuity (and removing excess fingers, etc) ... you're looking at more than 24 hours per creation. You're better off working a part time job for 3 days.

If you don't enjoy or know how to use AI tools you should not be using them, you will be wasting your time and everyone else's by making poor use of the tool.

If you are aiming at an small game in the first place then why not jump to DAZ directly? Rendering so few CGs is going to be faster with DAZ then it is with AI and you will not have to struggle at all to make images consistent.

I bet the ammount of effort you will go with AI to make consistent images is going to be the same or even worse than the effort it takes to learn how to use DAZ.

And yes you can still sell games with few CGs on dlsite. Just make sure you use censorship on penis and vag.

First of all if I want to use them I'll use them, every skill can be learned and if some jap bloke making porn games for 2$ can learn the basics so can I.

Also, I don't like DAZ. I legit cannot understand how people can smack their salmon to that lifeless uncanny valley nightmare fuel "art".

I'm not working on AI art so I don't know where to get the cracked Stable Diffusion. But I believe it is not hard to find. I remember it called some "local version".

For characters, there are some trained models. You can find in here.

And I have to say AI art has its advantages. But you still need to learn and practice a lot to well use it. You need to add proper code and tags like "no 4 or less fingers" "no 6 or more fingers". Many AI art can't even has a normal body. In the pic I post you can see the girl's shadow is a tree.

I'm also not a fan of DAZ for being uncanny but to me raw AI CGs look even worse because of the lack of consistency.

Unless you know how to draw and edit images yourself to "work with" the AI instead of against it, chances are you will end up creating nightmare fuel as well.

I don't know man, I highly doubt that these kinds of games edit or draw those pictures, I'll have to see for myself

AI is weird. Unless you use a name (celeb or character from an anime/etc), you're gonna have real trouble making more than one image that truly looks like the same character.* OTOH, there can be a real lack of variation in faces sometimes. They're not close enough to be the same character really, but they're not wildly different either. For example, I generated these and there was nothing in the prompt that should have produced such similar faces:

You're not Japanese though. Check the patreon ones shared on this forum, they run like shit.
Brother, I'm not aiming to make a magnum opus porn game that shall unite us all. I want to make something mediocre enough that 10 or 20 japanese weebs would be willing to pay 4$ and jack off to it.
