i was trying to make a game from 0, but... recientely i got hooked with old show called "Totally Spies!" was re-relased in netflix platform. while watching it, i remmembered that i had a crush on Clover and Sam; now i have the mighty urge to make a parody adult game about them, i was thinking about foing something betwen te lines of a clasic Rpg, you know, combat, some locations, corruption, rape, sexual favours, molesting, a little zoo and shota here and there, job like waitress whoch get molested, nun, etc,.
have recurring characters like Gwen from B10, Raven, Star fire, etc,.

it is a very old show, and i'm already working in making the main map (already have world map, spies house (front yard, back yard, spies rooms), first mall/store, and today i'm making some CG (even if i suck at drawing) and working in the sex favour mechanics, dialogs, etc... what do you guys think?

it might worth the shot?

could i use some modified version of the ost?

could i get in trouble for making it?
.
.
.

also, i don't like alex, i have 0 plans about her

I mean Akabur made a career out of making porn parody games about Jasmine from Aladdin and Hermione Granger from Harry Potter and he's still on Patreon, so I guess it can work.

I'm not a big fan of parody games as it requires knowledge about the IP that the game will be based off of. As such, as a general rule, I almost never play such games.

Regarding your interest in Totally Spies, there's already an active parody game in development, found here: Paprika Trainer. Have fun and enjoy!

ye, thanks for the heads up but i don't like "trainer" games, exept for akabur or mity, i... don't like the quick save very time you choose something and i don't like that "self inserted OC who fks everyone and everyone loves him" kind of stuf :/.

i think i'm talking about try to make rpg where you actually play either as Clover or Sam, level up, and do missions, some exploration, something more like "detective girl from steam city" style, choosing to fight, surrender, work and or take clases while you ain't in a mision, and if you have enough lewdnes, unlock sexual favours to low prices at certain stores, buy items for your misions, lewd enemies to avoid some combats, being molested while working a a waitress, maybe throw some shota and zoo here and there, that kind of stuff. Currently im wactching the whole series and i think the timeline will be ubicated betwen season 2 and 3, you know, to have consistency.
i mean, i'm not great at drawing, but i'll try to respect theog style :b

sorry if i have a lot of misspellings or sound rude at some point, i'm not american :c

I don't know anything about the show or the parody game beyond some passing knowledge. I just happen to recall seeing Paprika Trainer (though I've never played the game myself) and thought you might be interested in it despite it being a trainer. ^^

Well, good luck if you're going ahead with your idea. Make sure to kick around the ideas some more and get an overall plan of what you want to do. Be careful of wanting to do too much. Stay focused on your core ideas for the gameplay and story. If you decide that this isn't just a personal project just for yourself and you plan on sharing it, then make sure the writing and art are up to snuff. This is especially so if you want to release it in a language other than your native one. Again, good luck to you, don't get too frustrated by minor setbacks, and enjoy the ride while developing your game! Cheers.

The problem is that people need to be interested in the original novel / movie / TV series / video game, AND THEN also need to be interested in the kind of game you are making.

So the market will be smaller.

And another problem will be to make the parody have the correct atmosphere. Often parodies are meant to be funny, but that works better with some settings then with others. If you mess it up, you'll lose more of your already smaller market.

On the other hand, if you nail it, it could be very popular with a certain demographic.

I don't have a problem with parodial games really - if done correctly, a parody can shine through as an artform.

Parody is always a great option. You don't have to worry about character development or anything like that since the world and character are pre existing and the player already has a preconceived idea of the character.

Where you have to be careful of, is maintaining that expectation between what the player thinks the parodied character is going to do versus what the character does. For example, Akubars witch trainer doesn't have hermoine fucking everything around her at the start. Instead it leverages one of Hermonies high-level needs as a character (that being the smartest/best, along with her house being the best) in order to convey that.

So hermonie has a need (being the best) and the player is the protagonist in the way of that need (being the dean who determines who the best is) therefor you introduce conflict/challenge in the way of hermonie reaching her need. Resulting in her being pushed to her limits to get what she wants.

That's a perfect example of how to take a parody, with preexisting character needs, and exploit it for sexual content. Hats off to akbar. Sure it seems simple at a glance, but solid character design and execution.
