When TP 1.6* came out the animations were outstanding but even though that was only 10 months ago I feel like the top tier developers have advanced in their rendering capabilities to such a degree that TP isnt that special anymore.

has some nice animations now, though it's mainly in the later game content, as it was only a few releases back that they started to up their animation game. The stuff they did for the first couple of releases was mostly 2-3 frame swap animations, which while still ok, aren't nearly as good as what they've been putting out lately.

is also worth a look. That has some pretty decent animation work in it, even if I'm not the biggest fan of the style used for the character designs. Just be prepared for a lot of dead ends that will take forever to resolve since they've slowed down to just a few releases a year at this point.

Until any developer learn properly of animating 3D models, think any of games with animation as bonus, not mandatory. Also comparing between adult games quite vague. If you compare with the original Illusion Games (Honey Select, etc) & TK17 (origin games : 3D sex villa) ... their animation surpass any games you know. But if you mean for only the "Patreon's Developers" then probably TP is decent.

Not many good selection since these developers background are coders or story writers, plus disadvantage in production times vs release per monthly. Not many real skilled 3D animators work in adult games. Many prefers make 3D adult video or comic instead games, because coding & script writing are too much taking a lot of times. When the "reward/money" vs efforts ... it's not worth it. Only the very passionate 3D animators to porn games are really doing it. So don't expect this to be the minimum standard.

If your main goal is animations then your first target must be Adventures of Willy D, try it and you'll see that it's one of a kind quality and content wise. I'm surprised that nobody mentioned this game.

Have you even tried it in the past 3 updates? The new scenes added for those all have rather decent animations, far better than I ever expected out of a Honey Select based game as well. You have to play a fair ways into each of the girl's content to get to the newer stuff, since the first 2 releases were pretty substantial and they haven't gone back to replace the old stuff. The new stuff isn't perfect, but I think they managed to do quite well considering the limited tools they're working with.

i will try the first game you mentioned but about 2D games iam really not fan of cartoon style games

I'm not saying the animations are bad but Honey Select is using preset shit in an existing engine, its not like Daz

To each there own. Personally I think Mythic Manor looks better than just about every Daz game I've ever seen. It's extremely rare for me to even bother with a game once I see it's using Daz; I think I can count the Daz based games I've played on one hand. It certainly doesn't have the same quality of renders and lighting as someone experienced with iRay can produce, but the models are just so much more appealing to me. Daz is getting a bit closer to clawing their way up out of the uncanny valley, but they haven't gotten out yet, and I just prefer more stylized character models because of that.

Both are total shit when it comes to animation though, so it's a wash on that front. Honey Select however does have some advantages for devs with lower power systems, as all you need is to be able to run the game/studio. Even for those who just don't want to spend the better part of a week on every animation render can benefit from Honey Select's real time rendering. Plus pretty much all of the 3rd party assets are made freely available by the modding community, so it can save a fair bit of money on that front for those who aren't interested in pirating Daz content to use with their own commercial projects.

Milfy City creatively moves characters around to make the poses non-penetrative, but it's still the same animation building blocks.

It also requires top of the line graphics card,cpu, and ram to render that or else it will take you days to finish one animation.

So you won't see animations in lots of Daz games, but the ones you do see you will see a lot.

Teacher's Pets is 1 1/2 years old and has been abandoned for almost 1 year now. But yeah, Milfy City makes the best animations hands down. Good posing works just fine for me as a player and developer.

Most of the ones I've seen just look like a robotic gif, and with the nature of rendering an animation you will see a drop in image quality as well.

But I'm looking forward to the future and Icstor seems to be the pioneer for what you can do with them.
