I finally got through to it late last night (approx. 3 or 4am Central Standard Time). It seems to be more an issue of it's servers being overloaded, which I read a little later about in a thread on Isekai Cards. I didn't see anything on that thread about the site being down nor was there anyone complaining about there being any interruption of access to the site.
The only thing I saw that was seemed to be related was: Some people saying how long it was taking for them to download anything and then it would stop downloading towards the end and not even finish. Like literally 23 hours to download something only approximately 500 MBs in size and then once it was almost done the download's progression would stop and then couldn't be restarted; even using IDM. An admin responded and said (I'm paraphrasing here); "We have had a significant more traffic than they had originally accounted for and where looking into getting more servers and better servers to fix that issue."
So, it appears that it's that the servers are just majorly overloaded and it seems to be 'first come first serve'. And if you do get though, then it was just luck that you did. I'm not sure how servers work and how webtraffic on websites work. As to know if it is just there is certain times to get through to the webpage (my guess) or if there is some kind of tricks/hack to improve you're chances. Oh, the Admin did say that there busiest time seemed to be around noon to early evening; that being in Japan's timezone. So, I hope that helps someone .

Site got taken down by jank source code. I have to rewrite the majority of it as I was not given the exact source code in the beginning, only that Isekai's filehosts, DNS, and all servers were transferred to be solely in my name. php on the backend started falling apart (god forbid) literal same day I go to put in the fixes.

The site plugins supplied through xenforo became outdated, and enough of those not being updated over time bricked the backend. The site went down the same day I bought the XFRM necessary to apply the fixes. Everything for the site is cached and databased, but as far as the Isekai site goes, the coder, that shall not be named (as I'm not trying to get banned here TWICE lol), was the only one with the code, and they did not want to share it with me, so unless I learn more coding, or build an entirely new Isekai Express from scratch, I'm left with their updated spaghetti code I can no longer access or edit. I've sent off tickets to our filehost, but they suck at communicating.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding any missing info stated above, my profile is limited now in that I cannot share links, not even in my signature, so you will have to find another Isekai staff if you wish Discord access. Thank you for reading and understanding.

No, it is impossible for koi paywallers to take the site down. It had DDoS protections and the filehost is RU-based with DMCA ignore. It was the spaghetti coding.
