What is a good way to handle sex scenes in your VN?

I have been struggling with this for some time. I made a practice VN and all I can say is the sex scenes were cringe-worthy, and repetitive. Using Daz for the images was the easy part, you just learn the program, but writing interesting dialogue to go with it, I find is almost impossible. I'm working on another VN, and wanted to do a much better job, but I am falling back into very bad dialogue, and I hate it. I'm also looking for games that do a good job with it to get ideas, and they are hard to find. If anyone has any thoughts on games that handle sex scenes in an interesting way, I would love to hear them. I don't mind paying for 3 or 4 games that have good examples. Of course, nothing compares to good advice, so if anyone has any, I am all ears.

What do you mean by "dialogue"? Do you mean the witty banter leading up to sex? The things people shout during it? The character's inner thoughts while it's happening (which is monologue, not dialogue)? Or all three?

The sex act by itself isn't typically known for captivating dialogue, since the people involved are usually preoccupied with other tasks.

Simple solution: Don't use dialog for sex scenes. Like you said, it's unnatural and cringy. Use description of what is going on instead.

Read some erotica to get an idea of this. Or you can play some games, like A Wife & Mother, that I think do a good job at it.

That's even worse than dialog. You got the visuals already showing whats happening, why would you need to describe it as well.

My advice, if your pc can handle it, is to use animations instead of a handfull of stills, and keeping sex dialog to the minimum. Lack og dialog is much less an issue during animations than still images.

That's not what I mean. Description is what the characters feel, the situation, erotic writing to go along with the visuals etc.

Not "MC puts his dick into the lusty LI..." or the super cringy dialog that most games have.

I usually write a detailed script of the sex scene, put together some renders that show what I wrote (assuming it's even possible), then I put the result in Ren'Py, read it and start banging my head on the desk. Hard.
Then I scrap the dialogue, just browse through the images and rewrite the scene from scratch.
As jamdam said, readerotica. There are archives of thousands of classic old porn books floating on the net (or whichever style you want to achieve), so you can try tuning your skills with those.
Or, you know, team up with an artist that can't Daz for shit. *cough cough*

it depends on your target audience, men are visual and don't really like reading the sex scenes, for them several images or even some crude animation goes a long way.
For women, they want the details, the light, sounds, smells, thoughts and feelings, and they love reading. Be poetic and use metaphors a whole lot.

Eh, I'll take a stab at it.

Give me a brief description of your characters up till this point and their relationship to each other. Maybe some sample dialogue that illustrates their tone/writing voice.

How many images do you have/ lines do you need? (I'm assuming we're in ADV mode?)
