I'm looking for what, objectively speaking, is the best hentai game ever. I know it can be hard, but try to keep it as biased as possible and give me what you believe is objectively the best hentai game ever made.

Like, for me, I believe it may be Demon Roots. It ranks pretty high here on f95 and also has a pretty long and thought-out story with a major focus on character development. Or maybe even Karryn's Prison, just based off its popularity.

As a side note, please remember that I'm seeking the best HENTAI game, not the best game or any other game that isn't a hentai/Japanese game. So something like Desert Stalker or Eternum, as good as they are, don't count since they are porn games, and not specifically "hentai" games.

That's insanely subjective.
For me, it's very likely Rance X.

I second "The Last Sovereign", although it is a western title. I'm not sure that its writing style fits the theme of the thread, though. I haven't played a lot of Japanese hentai games/JRPGs. With what little I know, "The Last Sovereign" reminds me more of something by Chris Avellone, not that he ever wrote a harem power-fantasy where you save a seemingly fucked-up-beyond-redemption world via power of sex.

Most games fits my bias as the "best h-game". When it comes to h-games for me, it's not all about sex. I need a reason for it to happen and not just this gif

It needs to build upon, fits both of the character/s engaging in it, the environment and has consequences attached to it.

The best h-game to me isn't also all about ethical gooning too. It also needs engaging gameplay, captivating storytelling, almost realistic characters, bopping music, great voice acting, stunning visual presentation and insane replayability. For example, storytelling, Rance comes to mind and their decades of intricate storytelling. Visual presentation? Dohna Dohna comes to mind, just look at this visuals (more )

Characters and voice acting? All alicesoft games features a wide variety of loveable casts and VAs. Music? Try hearing some of their soundtracks that made it in to my car playlists like this or this or this and many more. Gameplay? Most fit this but the most engaged I have was when I played Daibanchou and Diateikoku. To me most of their games fits this criteria of mine and hence why I keep playing their games as soon as they come out. They are also the reason why I learned Japanese so that I can play their games Day 1. I know reading can be a heavy task for us and seeing the "Visual novel" tag scares a handful of people and the "non-animated CGs" drives away most people too but trust me, these are worth your time.

If we are talking about design, plot, etc I would say MGQ
But the illusion games literally enable any fantasy you may ever want, so they come close to perfection except in the "plot" department.
